Overview & Reviews
The Vibe is an all-new model in Pontiac's lineup designed to combine the best attributes of an SUV, a station wagon and a small van. Thankfully, the result is rather attractive and hip, not to mention utilitarian.
- Crisp handling, unique features, utilitarian design.

Worst car Ive ever bought - 2003 Pontiac Vibe
By pra22 - March 13 - 11:49 pmI bought this car used 3 months ago (with 118,000 miles), and in the 3000 miles Ive driven it, it has needed TWO catalytic convertors! It also needed repair on a window that was cobbled together (which of course, I couldnt see). It is also the NOISIEST car Ive ever had. It revs up alot each morning when it is cold outside until Ive traveled a few miles at higher speeds. I rue the day I bought this car and Im afraid to drive it for fear the transmission will be next. I clearly have a lemon.

Great Car - 2003 Pontiac Vibe
By Choosing Cars - March 2 - 10:00 amWe have had the vibe for 3 months now and have only had good experiences with the vehicle. The car was to be my commuter vehicle, but my spouse fell in love with it and now I only drive it on the weekends. The car has plenty of power and is fun to drive. It has a smooth ride at all speeds. The interior is very useful with all the seating/cargo configurations available.

What a mistake - 2003 Pontiac Vibe
By fsjd - February 18 - 2:00 amWithin the first month the trim fell off the car doors, the sun visor will constantly change location without manual malipulation, there is rattling noise from within the a/c vents; the air conditioning is insufficient, never reaches the back of the car. A big mistake and wish I had never bought this car. If I could sell it today and my money I would !!!

03 Vibe Reflections After Two Years - 2003 Pontiac Vibe
By mhosbach - February 12 - 2:00 amLeased my Vibe shortly after they became available. The sporty looks and cross-over concept were what attracted me. Interior ergonomics are right on. Drivers seating is perfect. Cargo capacity is surprisingly large. Mileage is excellent, low 30s for my daily commute. Ride, handling, and brakes are great. A disappointment has been the 200 watt stereo. The door speakers rattle. In 30,000 miles, my Vibe has had no mechanical problems. A few minor glitches in the first year were probably "new model" type problems. Buy a Vibe! It has the right mix of cool style, features, and value.

By joselago - February 8 - 10:00 amOnly one problem: Noise detected in HVAC system. Had something to do with the A/C. Replaced free at dealer (took 3 tries to get it right). Free loaner car from dealer. Roomy (Im 65 and fit easily) Overall excellent value.

home run - 2003 Pontiac Vibe
By 98clru - January 8 - 6:56 pmnow have 38k on it, great gas milage, comfortable, versatile, economical, reliable, cute. After nearly 2 years and 38k mile, only issue is the storage compartment under transmission shifter, a little duct tape on pivot point tightened it up, now no worries! NO TRIPS to dealer for repairs/adjustments.

Vibe Lover - 2003 Pontiac Vibe
By Martin - January 1 - 3:53 amI bought this car when I lived in Texas and was attending college in Pennsylvania. I went from a Corolla (which I loved) and wanted something with much more people and cargo space without compromising fuel efficiency. With this car being built by Toyota, it finished my decision. We have had no problems with it whatsoever and it now has 96,000 miles on it!!!

GrannyVibes - 2003 Pontiac Vibe
By beckys56 - November 30 - 12:06 amI have had no problems with the vibe. It gets great gas mileage on hwy 35- 36,in town average 29. Lots of room for my camping equipment and grandkids. Got a lewis and clark bag for the top when in travel mode, works great saves room in vehicle for other things. Do wish I had cruise control. Would suggest for people to purchase a vibe. Not really liking the new design, but as long as they didnt chg the mileage I could handle the new design. I have drove 70000 miles in 6yrs, I would drive my vibe any where if need be, handles great, even in snow. Change oil 3000 miles or 3mths,tires 1x a year and yearly check ups.
