Overview & Reviews
The Vibe is an all-new model in Pontiac's lineup designed to combine the best attributes of an SUV, a station wagon and a small van. Thankfully, the result is rather attractive and hip, not to mention utilitarian.
- Crisp handling, unique features, utilitarian design.

good car, with minor errors - 2003 Pontiac Vibe
By snakes - July 1 - 10:00 amI lvoe my car, its fun to drive and mostly comfortable. The onyl drawbacks i have had are glare form the crome on the dashboard, the way the driver visor clips the rear-view mirror when you put it down knocking it out of alignment. Also for those people for short arms/legs the shift being so far up is a little starin on the shoulder/elbow. Aside form that its got GREAT handling, fantastic for driving and really good mileage. Only defect i have noticed is the corners of the tracks in the trunk have got stress fratures at the corners.

Pontiacs Best Kept Secret - 2003 Pontiac Vibe
By dkrblaze - July 1 - 10:00 amIve been looking for new wheels for quite a while now, and came across the Vibe. After test driving the GT model, with the 6-speed manual trans, I was sold! This thing is a rocket! Same car as the Toyota Matrix, but with an American nametag. Smart looking vehicle, with a TON of room on the inside. Seats 4 adults really comfortably, and rear seats fold down to create a lot of room for moving just about anything! For the money this is a wonder car. Way to go Pontiac!

Great Car - 2003 Pontiac Vibe
By kevin_junger - June 15 - 12:20 pmPurchased the car in March 03 and have been very pleased. As of today the car has 58,000 miles and has never been back to the dealer for any reason. Handling is excellent. Acceleration is acceptable but the 1.8 liter is a little noisy above 4,000 rpm. Overall I am very satisfied with the purchase and would buy another Vibe in a second.

Great little car - 2003 Pontiac Vibe
By Vibe Ride - April 2 - 11:03 amI now have over 171000 miles on my Vibe. I have done my own oil changes sense I bought it. I replaced the front rotors and brake pads at 120000 miles. The only issue ever has been the check engine light is on and it is a possible of 4 issues but it still runs excellent. Front drives seat had a spring break and now there is a tear in the fabric. Out side of these items this has been a great car. 3 out of 4 of my family cars are Pontiac. We also have an 05 Sunfire and a 98 Grand Am GT. This Vibe handles well. Decent pick up for a small 4 cylinder. Plenty of head room for a 62" tall driver. Nice fuel economy on it. I still get about 28 MPG with it.

Great Concept-Great Value-Great Car!! - 2003 Pontiac Vibe
By Joshua Thorison - March 14 - 10:00 amI purchased the Vibe after owning a problematic Saturn SL2 for 3yrs. Drove the Vue and decided that I didnt want anymore plastic cars with high repair bills. I have had absolutely no problems with the Vibe. Toyota/GM always do a great job when they put their heads together (owned a Prizm for 3 yrs.). I constantly get asked what it is that I drive by people of all ages. A must-drive if in the market for a small sport hatch!

Practicality - 2003 Pontiac Vibe
By Chris (Go Wings!) - February 17 - 10:00 amExcellent vehicle! Perfectly suits my needs. Recently started a family and commute 190 miles each day. Gas mileage has improved as the miles rack up and the functionality of this vehicle is great! Extremely comfortable, plenty of head and leg room, and lots of cargo space when needed. I purchased a 2 wheel drive with the 5 speed standard. It is fun to drive a stick again and I average about 35.5 mpg. Highly recommended. No problems to date with 24,000 miles. I would opt for slighty more power if it was available

This car is stylin!! - 2003 Pontiac Vibe
By Kyle Brautigan - January 31 - 10:00 amThis is a cool compact car! It has both good looks on outside and inside. It has a roomy and versatile interior. It handles very well and has a good confident feeling when driving plus the fuel economy is awesome. On the negative the ride is fairly harsh and the engine though economical is loud and underpowered. It is quiet at highway speeds though. The sad thin is this is one of the best quality vehicles GM makes which is sad because it cost around 20,000 dollars. The reason for this is because it is mainly done by Toyota. No surprize!!

my vibe - 2003 Pontiac Vibe
By doublell1 - January 26 - 5:33 amThe vibe is a good car for intercity driving. I like how small it is and how easy it is too use, the gas mileage is not the best but the joy of diving and versatility that the car provides overshadows its downfalls.
