  • Average Small Car, but reliable - 2004 Nissan Sentra
    By -

Bought the car new, so far im pleased. Havent had any problems with it unlike my previous 2 cars. Powerful lil car for a V4. The 180watt sound system is amazing. For a small car though, it really eats up gas. For an automatic u can really tell when it is switching gears cause u feel it big time. Itll shake or jerk itself which is a real annoyance. Overall though, its a reliable little car. Needs some improvements though.

  • Big bang for small wallet - 2004 Nissan Sentra

I wanted to have a bigger engine compact car with loaded options and found Sentra as my choice. It had almost everything what I wanted. Dont we want to pass big truck soon as we can when it splashes all the dirty water or sludges ? I do and , boy..., my new Sntra did a great job when I press my pedal to pass ugly big truck in a second. I couldnt do that with my old car. My only complaint is some cheapy looking interior and poor ergonomic designe such as rear seat, audio control. The performance of 2.5 einge is great, less driving and road noise than other competetors.

Great speed when merging on to the freeway. Hold power when climing 30 percent grade hills. Fits 5 people comfortly. Body style is new and dinamic.

  • I was very happy with the Car - 2004 Nissan Sentra

I loved the size of the Car (easy to park) could use tighter turn radius for its size. Ride, Performance and Quietness are perfect, although using the passing gear would create a slight burnt rubber smell and not a great sounding stereo system. Overall, though, I liked the car and Im thinking about buying one.

  • Excellent value for the money - 2004 Nissan Sentra

I like this small car. It is surprisingly powerful and gets up to highway speeds quickly enough. The front is roomy enough. Im 62" 200lbs and it is comfortable to ride it. My only disappointment has been with the gas mileage. I drive a lot of highway and the best Ive ever done is slightly over 30. Usual is 28 or so I think the mileage suffers more than most cars at speeds above 55 and for cold temperatures. The AC is also good for a small car. Overall it was a good purchase. Ive never owned a Toyota or Honda, so I dont know if they would be worth the extra money. For me, I cant imagine they would.

  • Car has some problems - 2004 Nissan Sentra

The car is decent for the money but comes with some problems. Car wont start on the first try sometimes. Sometimes it starts, then dies. Drives fine though. CD player wont eject my CD. Gas mileage not up to expectations.

  • Spec-V Wrap-up Review - 2004 Nissan Sentra
    By -

Recently turned in my Spec-V for an Altima. The Spec-V was a very fun car to drive and was a performance bargain that could not be beat for a few years. Finicky handling, but fairly high limits once you were aquainted with the car. Good strong motor, brakes, and nice steering. The only real weak links were the shifter (sometimes) and torque steer. After a while though you do become accustomed to these quirks and the car never lost its charm. The car felt solid all the time I had it. The only big complaint I had was the ease with which the paint got chipped in the front. My other big complaint was that Nissan did not see this as normal wear and tried (but failed) to charge me for it.

  • Split Seam - 2004 Nissan Sentra
    By -

After only two months, one of the seams on the drivers seat has split. The dealer is ordering a new seat bottom to replace it, though. I am getting about 34 MPG in mainly highway driving. I was hoping for more with gas prices around $2 and rising! The front cup holders are only good for very short cups. Many of the under frame and engine components are rusting badly.
