Never buy your car from Midway Auto Team - 2004 Nissan Sentra
By ndcyciv - May 29 - 2:00 amMy only suggestion is to never buy your car from Midway Auto Team in Arizona. My car has had minor problems, but the service department just bills your warranty company and never satisfies the repairs.

Nothing but trouble! - 2004 Nissan Sentra
By jbh126 - April 10 - 2:00 amBought: 3/8/04 - on 3/15/04 at 495 miles check engine light came on, lost all engine power. Dealer replaced enitre computer (ECM) on 3/18/04. Today, 3/21/04, at 715 miles - light came on AGAIN, and lost all engine power. Dealer could care less. Otherwise car is great, if it would actually run for more than 3 days. I suggest buying a Toyota or Honda - anything but this car!!

This car is junk ! ! ! - 2004 Nissan Sentra
By 04 SPEC-V - January 15 - 12:13 amI bought a 04 SPEC-V with only 4,000 miles on it. It has all options except the stereo system upgrade. It was practically brand new. At about 20,000 miles the front struts went out. At 30,000 the rear struts needed to be replaced. At 48,000 the front struts needed to be replaced AGAIN. The build quality of this car is horrible. Mine came with the Brembo brakes. What the hell is NISSAN thinking Brembo brakes but no ABS. They are completely useless in snow or rain. Even cheap cars like KIA offer you ABS. Transmission doesnt always shift properly into reverse. The summer tires it came with do not last. I wish i never bought this car. Im very disappointed.

Small annoying problems - 2004 Nissan Sentra
By Eric - December 27 - 3:40 amSince buying this car nothing but small problems. The interior was put together carelessly. moon roof lining fell down, very generic. I have a starting issue in where it doesnt catch when turning over. its fine when I start it for the first time during the day, but come back after about an hour and it stalls a few times, before starting. The aluminum wheels are pretty bad. leak air from rims. The moon roof does not close all the way. Some rust near the spoiler, in which one side of spoiler is rotted through trunk. Car drives okay. Wouldnt buy this car again. To many small issues, however nothing big yet. I have about 82,000 for mileage.

Not quite sure - 2004 Nissan Sentra
By Ambivalent - July 23 - 10:00 amI have 1600 miles and it gets about 20mpg at best, not the 28 advertised. The inside is scratched up from who know what and when the dealer washed it for me water got under the clear coat in a few places. The interior has too many colors; gray, black and beige which I dont think match well. No rear leg room, but I dont sit in the rear.

Sorry, not a believer - 2004 Nissan Sentra
By RNMorton - June 22 - 10:00 amKick-ass acceleration and solid handling with some wonky oversteer at the limits. But I think the bad news outweighs the good. A chintzy interior - in a $20,000 car I had to tape padding to the hard plastique armrests. Generally cheap feel. And just terrible gas mileage for a four in a light sedan. At 17 or 18 mpg around town I for one would trade some zip for more mileage. With the small gas tank and a nervous computer the car can be begging for gas in less than 200 miles, way too often for me.

WHITESENTRA - 2004 Nissan Sentra
By SONIAJW - March 16 - 2:00 amSTEARING IS NOT VERY SMOOTH. SEATS ARE NOT VERY COMFORTABLE AN ARM REST WOULD BE HELPFUL. CENTRAL CONSOLE IS VERYSMALL SO YOUR ARE UNABLE TO USE IT AS AN ARMREST. I FEEL LIKE I AM IN AN UNCOMFORTABLE BED WITH NO POSITION THAT IS COMFORTABLE. FREEWAY DRIVING IS QUIT NOISEY,NOT AS QUIET AS MY SISTERS COROLLA.

"A nightmare" - 2004 Nissan Sentra
By LEX - July 5 - 2:56 amThis car has been nothing more then a pain in the rear end. Nothing but problem from day one.Four times to the dealer for the transmission, three for the front end "Alignment problem". The list goes on and on. If you are thinking of buying this car DONT waste your money and besides to hook it up is too much money for a couple of horsepower. If youre going to buy a nissan get a Maxima or 350z for performance.

nothing but problems. - 2004 Nissan Sentra
By shotgun1496 - January 31 - 7:19 ambought this car from carmax. the stereo skips non stop, had to change the starter three times, dash lights went out, had to have the ignition switch replaced twice. hard to start the car, often time you have to shut the engine off and back on, because the car just wont go above 20, steering is difficult, and im 6ft so the car isnt the most roomy, the riding comfort is the only good thing. overall bad car.
