For 2004, the Sentra receives some exterior changes that include new front and rear fascias and a revised hood. Inside, the Sentra gets a new trip computer, which is standard on the SE-R, Spec V and 2.5 S. There is also an upgraded Rockford Fosgate stereo. The Sentra SE-R Spec V gets a new Brembo brake package, seats from the Skyline, new interior fabric and two new exterior colors -- Volcanic Orange and Sapphire Blue.

fourth Nissan - 2004 Nissan Sentra
By klc523 - July 19 - 4:23 amthis is my fourth Nissan, as a retired older professional woman I like the reliability and little or no repairs needed on this vehicle.I would appreciate a little more room in the car, the 2004 model is definitely smaller. I love the price.

average car with few problems - 2004 Nissan Sentra
By fuji - January 16 - 10:33 amhead gasket went @ 127k miles. cd stop working @ 80k miles. The back seat door handle keep falling out. The cat. convector been replace twice, first under 36k miles warranty, second times @80k miles replaced from nissan recall.Other than those problem,the car works good. It get 33 mpg on highway. The battery, head light & ac still original.The clutch was replace @ 110k miles have to tow the car to transmission shop. But i was teaching my daughter the stick shift. Overall i think still a good car.

I like my sentra! - 2004 Nissan Sentra
By Lil Kim - January 13 - 10:00 amThes sentra is a very reliable, good car. I have had it for about two months and I drive it a lot because I like my new car. About a week ago, I crashed it though because the brakes (which arent ABS) skidded in the rain. My fault, but I hope when it is fixed (with a new bumper, hood, headlights, and radiator) that it is still as good as when it went in the shop.

For a compact car of this descent, a very good handling vehicle, with guts (out of the box) and a sweet used price to boot too! Tires will definitely need an upgrade for winters in Alberta Canada. After the winter tires cold winter drives will be fine with heated mirrors and the 9 spkr Rockford Fosgate. I bought this car with the intention of driving a sleeper and got oodles more in performance bonuses and every interior amenity I will ever need. A beautiful power band exists, even if the shifter feels a bit clunky.

By ATOMB - December 1 - 2:00 amThis is a fun little car thats fast sporty and functional. I am a 30yr old father of 1 and I love the little yellow bundle speed I bought. The inside controls are easy to use and find. This car is solid built well and Very FUN to drive! If you are on a buget and want the thrill of a sports car this is it. It beats the Civic Si and Focus SVT hands down the best in its class!!!

The brace under the hood tells you something. Great ride, great sound, great price! Nissan definitely knows quality. That is, NISMO.

Goods and bads - 2004 Nissan Sentra
By lacedup - October 13 - 4:03 amI have a 2004 Nissan sentra 1.8s its been really good to me I mean its a 2004 and has 83,000 miles allready meaning it is reliable and fun to drive but there are a few things wrong with the one I have and I have heard this happens with many others also the cd player just stopped working and didnt spit the cd out just made a clicking noise which I had replaced and I had to replace the belts on the car numerous times and sometime the car takes 2-3 tries to start, but also on the insides the seats rip very easily and back seat, well consider there is basically no backseat cause its very small and tight, paint that it come with is very cheap, other than that it pretty quick and very good on gas

Love My Car! - 2004 Nissan Sentra
By kajun8girl - September 18 - 1:59 pmI bought my 2004 Sentra with 10 miles on it. I keep up with my regular maintenance (oil, tires, filters etc). The only mechanical issue I have had was a sensor went out. $34 it was fixed (by me). I now have 195k miles on my car and it still drives wonderful! Yes I have some of the simular issues that others have had, my trunk only pops with the key (I know what is wrong but havent had time to take it appart-simple fix), the back door handles pop out on occassion. But for the price I paid for my car, the MANY road trips from TX to LA and the fact that I have 2 children under 10-I would say I have gotten my monies worth. I still get excellent gas miliage!
