Great fuel mileage, and great reliability, have not had a single problem with it. The car is responsive, but on the highways an extra oof is needed.

  • What they DONT tell you... - 2004 Nissan Sentra

Ive been driving my Sentra SpecV for close to 6 months now, after researching at Edmunds, I was surprised some of the things that Edmunds/dealers dont mention: 1. The SpecV comes standard with 22lb 17" rims, very heavy rims with equally heavy tires that you cannot put snow chains on, due to their size in the wheel well. On top of that, the Contisport tires are LOUSY in wet weather. 2. You will not be able to put mud guards on your car-the dealers mentioned that Nissan was making them- that was a lie. The side/wheel molding does not allow mud guards to be installed behind the front tires-so mud/gr gets all over the doors. Inexcuseable.

  • the b man - 2004 Nissan Sentra

My Sentra now has 64k miles and the only problem Ive ever had was the seat material that ripped 4 times and I has it replaced under Nissans warranty. The back seat is so tight that you should consider offering someone a ride back there. The 30 MPG on the highway is great and it works great for me, since I just use this car on my daily commute. Cheap and reliable transportation.

  • Big Man Happy With Small Car - 2004 Nissan Sentra

With gas prices so high,I wanted something smaller but still comfortable for a larger man. Found it in the Sentra.Plenty of room in the front, better gas milege than my bigger car,all this makes a big man happy

  • Discrepancies of the 04 Sentra SE-R - 2004 Nissan Sentra

I myself am a proud owner of a 2004 Nissan Sentra SE-R Auto. The car is unbelievably fast for my taste. Not knowing how to drive a manual didnt prevent my purchase from the Spec-V model but the auto version is much more at ease due to its convenience of gas and brake go. The interior design is useful, not too sporty yet not too dull either. Interior controls seem to be right or close to the right places for convenience. Rear-seat room could definitely have been improved. The only drawbacks I found w/this car was exterior front design, rear-seat room, and it being a four-door vehicle. Wouldve preferred the vehicle to be a coupe.

this is best commute car for the money you pay. very reliable and good build

  • Very Good little car - 2004 Nissan Sentra
    By -

Overall the Sentra is a very good car. Its not far behind the Civic or Corolla in terms of reliability and quality; not as refined but not far behind. Perhaps the best value amongst the three. I purchased with the $2500 rebate so it was defenitely a great buy for around $12K dlls for the 1.8S w/ carpets, microfilter & splash guards and Auto tranny. About $3500 less than the Civic and Corolla.

  • all around great car - 2004 Nissan Sentra

the nissan sentra se-r is an all around well built car. yes it could use a little style flair in the interior design, but all buttons and nobs are in reach and plain view. it is quick and light on its feet and easy to handle.all this and you get a rockin sound system when you upgrade to the rockford fosgate audio system.
