  • Basic QG Manual - 2004 Nissan Sentra

My 1.8s Manual Sentra is a quick little QG that I love driving and doing mods to. Stock it will do 0-60 in 7.8 seconds (if youre good at power shifting). Its super good on gas, picks up speed well, a lot of torque in 4th gear. I easily get up to 90mph in 4th gear, doesnt even get loud. The car has 114,000 miles on it too. I havent had to fix/replace anything on it yet. Clutch might be starting to get a little slippy because I dropped it to do burnouts. If you buy this car from a dealer I can bet you it will be extremely reliable.

I bought the 2004 Nissan Sentra with the Road Trip package (leather steering wheel, 7-speaker stereo system and cruise control) because I also have a 1992 Nissan Sentra sedan that has been the best car since it was new. The 2004 Sentra drives heavier (a big plus) because it has larger tires and weighs more. Handling is tight and responsive, and the engine is very peppy. Overall quality is excellent and I am very happy with this purchase.

0-60 in about 9.3 seconds, even though it pulls to the right a little, its a nice fast car, for the motor and the build. The suspension is good, even though it is a little bumpy on the highway. Its a good car overall, with the power options, except the seat, but it does have the adjusting knob for the driver seats, that are buckets seats, a plus for those who have bad backs

  • This Car Rocks !!!!!!! - 2004 Nissan Sentra

This is my 2nd Nissan Sentra, the first was a 99 SE Limited. My first test drive was great !! But this all ends there. My first test drive of the 2004 Spec V left me with the feeling of a rocket on wheels. Also mine is a wild color (Volcanic Orange) and gets head turns everywhere I go. So much power and so fun to drive, I wait only to get into the drivers seat again. The stereo is awsome (300 watt rockford fosgate with subwoofer). I can see why edmunds rates it as 1 of the top 10 car stereos in a car under $30,000.00

60,000 miles and transmission howls, car is hard to start, exhaust system falling apart, air conditioning vents not working properly, struts going bad, loud popping noise from motor mount area, brake rotor warped (and this is a cold climate) and car makes allot of road noise. This is the worst car I ever had and I have owned over two dozen cars. I will never buy another "MADE IN MEXICO" car in my life.

The car is decent for the money but comes with some problems. Car wont start on the first try sometimes. Sometimes it starts, then dies. Drives fine though. CD player wont eject my CD. Gas mileage not up to expectations.

After test driving several other vehicles I was happy to find a car that was fun to drive. The transmition ran well at take off and engaged well while going in other gears. (so others I had tried didnt do as well) I like the little extras like standard 6 cd player. The brakes work great. This is a great buy for the money. Not to forget its reliability.
