  • RUN AWAY............FAST! - 2004 Nissan Sentra

Nissan has lost its reliability and will not stand beside the customer. 5 years of listening to a sqeeling serpentine belt, tough to re-start after the car has been drivin... Tough to start when the car is cold and now my headgasket is blown with 59,000 miles on it. Now im finding out that there are Major problems with headgasket failure and Nissan is ignoring it. Ive owned 3 nissans over the years and anything over a 2002 is gonna break your pocketbook. Sorry Nissan but it reminds me of a washed up prize fighter who once stood tall and then took a great fall.

I wanted to have a bigger engine compact car with loaded options and found Sentra as my choice. It had almost everything what I wanted. Dont we want to pass big truck soon as we can when it splashes all the dirty water or sludges ? I do and , boy..., my new Sntra did a great job when I press my pedal to pass ugly big truck in a second. I couldnt do that with my old car. My only complaint is some cheapy looking interior and poor ergonomic designe such as rear seat, audio control. The performance of 2.5 einge is great, less driving and road noise than other competetors.

Im disappointed with the dealership Bill Seidles in Miami. First they sold me a Nissan with 8000 miles and the glove compartment fell off. This happened as I was driving home from the dealership. When I asked to return the vehicle they said they could only exchange it for a new one.

Great speed when merging on to the freeway. Hold power when climing 30 percent grade hills. Fits 5 people comfortly. Body style is new and dinamic.

  • Small but Good - 2004 Nissan Sentra

Good little car with a lot of standard features for its price (especially after $2500 cash back.) I love the power and the handling. Fun to drive. Easy to afford.

  • I was very happy with the Car - 2004 Nissan Sentra

I loved the size of the Car (easy to park) could use tighter turn radius for its size. Ride, Performance and Quietness are perfect, although using the passing gear would create a slight burnt rubber smell and not a great sounding stereo system. Overall, though, I liked the car and Im thinking about buying one.

Have had gas issues, were it wouldnt take gas, just spit it back out.Bought my car with 22 miles on it, and so far so good. It is a 2004 and has 54,000 miles on it.So far just the gas issues and it does take 2-3 times to start most of the time. It is a reliable car, drove back and forth from Pa to Vegas and it is great. Very good on gas.

  • What a disappointment - 2004 Nissan Sentra

Why was this car my first ever lemon Ive ever owned. Let me just say I had to replace the front left bearing 4 times. Thats right 4 times and Nissan treated me like a you know what. Lets just say the regional manager says she called me 3 times and never did. Be careful buying this cars. You need to fuel the car with 91 octane or better. There is no 40/60 split. The tail rattles after taking the abuse of the NYC streets. Do not replace the tranny fluid. I had to replace the tranny. When everything was working properly, the car was amazing to drive, great performance drives amazing for a FWD car. I will miss the 6-speed tranny. Watch out for Nissans customer service, its bad.

  • Excellent value for the money - 2004 Nissan Sentra

I like this small car. It is surprisingly powerful and gets up to highway speeds quickly enough. The front is roomy enough. Im 62" 200lbs and it is comfortable to ride it. My only disappointment has been with the gas mileage. I drive a lot of highway and the best Ive ever done is slightly over 30. Usual is 28 or so I think the mileage suffers more than most cars at speeds above 55 and for cold temperatures. The AC is also good for a small car. Overall it was a good purchase. Ive never owned a Toyota or Honda, so I dont know if they would be worth the extra money. For me, I cant imagine they would.
