The LX model is now available with a sport package that includes a new five-speed manual transmission, side step bars, Michelin tires, alloy wheels, roof rack, leather-wrapped steering wheel and keyless entry. A two-tone gray interior color scheme is also new, and metallic interior accents replace last year's wood grain accents.

  I like everything ...so far! One problem: my seat belt indicator does not work as advertised in owners manual. Once seat belt is disengaged the belt light is suppose to illuminate and a chime sound. Someone answer me this: IS IT JUST ME THAT FINDS IT ODD THAT THERE ARE NO DAY- TIME RUNNING LAMPS??? ...OR ARE THERE AND MY KIA IS SCREWED UP??? A POST FROM OTHERS WOULD REALLY PUT MY MIND AT EASE!

  l did a lot of reseach before l brought this kia and for the price you cant get a better deal. l drove it in the snow and the four wheel drive was great. if you dont mind the name kia on your truck then this is the truck for you.

  IT is a very comfortable automobile. It has plenty of power to get out into traffic. The price was excellent. I also like the 10 year 100000 mile warranty.

  If ur even thinking about a mid-size SUV, do not buy another w/o at least looking at this one first. 2 blocks n2 a test drive, I was saying “wow”. As everyone says, it has all the features, comfort & style of SUV’s costing $15K more. Yet I bought a Jeep Grand Cherokee instead. Tho it stickered just under $40K after rebates & 5 min of haggling, I got the price down to $28K matching the KIA. In the end, for the same money I couldn’t get over my prejudice about Kia’s past bad rep, the Jeep has a V8 with 30% more hp & my pos exp w/ past Jeeps. If the dif in the bottom line had been greater, wouldve bought the KIA. I think the KIA ride is smoother.

  A Great SUV - 2004 Kia Sorento

  I change vehicles every three years I have gone from a 1999 Lexus RX300 to the 2002 Toyota Highlander to a 2004 Kia Sorrento LX. The LX is more fun to drive than the Highlander and better looking very comfortable the negative is the fuel economy is not good. However when you consider the price differential in the cost of the vehicles I can live with that. I love the vehicle.

  Previously owned a 2003 Sedona EX for several months. Traded for the Sorento because our dog didnt like not having back seat windows that didnt open!! We liked the performance of the Sedona so much that we knew we wanted to stay with a KIA. Im so happy and pleased that we did!

  The Kia Sorento gives you a lot of bang for your buck. Most of my riders are surprised by the size of the interior, the standard features, cargo room, and how it rides. After they get over their awe the ask about the gas mileage. There in lies the rub! While it doesnt get good gas mileage, it is pretty standard for an SUV with 4 wheel drive. Ive enjoyed driving my Sorento this past year. It has been reliable, safe, and fun to drive!

  The problem is that the check engine light continues to go on. I have brought it to be serviced 5 times in 8 months and they still cannot fix it.

  Like some people, we were nervous about buying a Kia. I test drove several small SUVs and fell in love with the Sorento. I have 50K miles on it with no problems whatsoever. Ive pulled a trailer and the 4wd has been great for the winter snow. I have been extremely happy with my Sorento and have been pleased.
