The LX model is now available with a sport package that includes a new five-speed manual transmission, side step bars, Michelin tires, alloy wheels, roof rack, leather-wrapped steering wheel and keyless entry. A two-tone gray interior color scheme is also new, and metallic interior accents replace last year's wood grain accents.

Great vehicle - 2004 Kia Sorento
By Bravo - November 22 - 10:00 amI love my Kia. I get alot of complaments from people I know and dont know. The ride is smooth and it is an affordable suv with luxury options. It looks like a lexus, feels like one, has all the options for half the price. Overall this is a great vehicle. My next vehicle will be a newer model of the Sorento.

I love my Kia - 2004 Kia Sorento
By Roxy - October 16 - 4:00 amMy Kia is an 04 and currently has 92k miles on it. I have changed the oil regularly, just got new tires last year, needed to change the tail lights about once a year. Other than that-new brakes...havent had a problem until now. I have an oil leak and the mechanic has to take the engine apart to find the leak. Said it would be $300-$400. So, not bad for 92k miles. I love my Kia-have had fun driving it. I will keep it until it dies! The gas mileage isnt very good but it is paid off due to the 0% financing I got on it when purchased new. I was rear ended by a very large truck going 45 mph and I was at a complete stop with my baby in the back seat. This Kia took the hit from hell like a champ.

Just put 21,000 miles on my Kia Sorento - 2004 Kia Sorento
By trawets20 - October 14 - 2:00 amIve had my Sorento right about a year and have now put 21,ooo miles on it.It has had no problems at all and has been a real pleasure to drive.I too was skeptical of the Kia badge ,but did alot of research before I purchased.Its turned out to be a real good vehicle so far,and for the features you get its a great choice.

Its the only SUV that I have been in that sits right up there with full size pickups and didnt cost me an arm and a leg. You really need to reconsider if you are going to buy an SUV and not give the Sorento a look first. Major difference between the Sorento and the Santa Fe, I have driven the Lexus RX330 and there is no difference except the price and thats a big difference.

Poor - 2004 Kia Sorento
By Jeannie Benson - September 28 - 7:56 pmI am very unhappy with my 2004 Kia Sorento First the water overflow tank went bad, both sides of the front end had to be replaced, multiple sensors. the head lights and tails lights continually go out. We have had to get the air charge the last 3 years and now it doesnt work at all and I still owe 3 months worth. Cant wait to be done with this lemon!
