Overview & Reviews
An AM/FM/CD stereo and a tilt steering wheel are now standard on all 2004 Jeep Wrangler models. A new aluminum wheel design is standard on Sahara models and optional on Sport models. Right-hand-drive versions are also available for fleet utility service. A Columbia Edition option package is also new for 2004.
- Cheap, fun to drive, classic styling, go-anywhere capability.
- Soft top a handful to manipulate, difficult ingress-egress, slow steering, bouncy suspension on the street.

04 Wrangler - 2004 Jeep Wrangler
By bomberfive - June 11 - 10:00 amRemember what this vehicle was / and is designed for. Fuel economy (for a 4 X 4) is excellent. Well built and will last a long time. Anything you do not like about the original vehicle, can easily be changed with after market parts.

Very high build quality & fun to drive - 2004 Jeep Wrangler
By djd - April 23 - 10:00 amThis is my fourth Jeep and the build quality is far better than my last three Jeeps. There were no factory defects at all. The engine is very powerful and smooth running. The ride is far smoother and quieter than I expected with those knobby tires (although not car-like). The 4-wheel- drive system is unstoppable. My only suggestions are; get the hard top as the soft top is very difficult to install / remove & note that the "gray" interior is really black (very hard to keep clean). I could not be more pleased with this Jeep.

True Trail Ready Vehicle - 2004 Jeep Wrangler
By ldmpam - April 17 - 10:00 amThe only reasonable priced serious off road vehicle that can be used as is for both street and trails with out concern. It is built tough and reliable, you can get an auto transmission and airconditing with cruse control. But the basic jeep has real tough drive train that you can get factory airlockers front & rear with a heavy duty transfer case and full 7 year 70k mile warrentee for worry free off/on road uses.

best jeep ever made - 2004 Jeep Wrangler
By gimble - March 16 - 2:00 amI have owned many jeeps including, cj 5, cj7, scramblers and a wrangler. the rubicon is by far the best of all. coil springs improve the ride over the earlier models.I got the upgraded sound system, which is great. the ride on the street and off road is better then any jeep i have ever driven. The rubicon is worth ever penny.

Wow! - 2004 Jeep Wrangler
By hagbard64 - March 16 - 2:00 amTraded in my 92 4-cyl YJ. Talk about an upgrade! This thing is sweet! Everything is improved. Much smoother and quieter ride compared to my old leaf-sprung YJ. The interior is quite comfortable. Definitely go for the dual top option and full doors; well worth it.

I cant believe I finally did it! - 2004 Jeep Wrangler
By P. J. - March 11 - 10:00 amI have a buddy who has a Sahara and I loved to drive it. I had talked about getting a Jeep for over a year. Well, my car died and I finally did it. I wanted the Sahara, but they didnt have any on the lot, so I got the X with added A/C, tinted rear windows & upgraded wheels/sound bar. I live in New Orleans, so the ride on the streets can be a little bumpy, but it is a blast to drive! If youve ever thought about it . . . Just do it!!

My First Jeep - 2004 Jeep Wrangler
By Dewlix - December 21 - 2:00 amIve wanted a Wrangler since I was 19 (now 44). Wish Id bought one sooner...more fun/exciting than any vehicle Ive owned. Mileage sucks, but worth the high fun-factor this vehicle has. Only drawback is the wife hates it!

Great Convertable - 2004 Jeep Wrangler
By bt800 - November 8 - 2:00 amThis is a great convertable! It offers a economical price with diverse utility value. It is rugged and there is not a lot of space, so if you need that get a mini van or big SUV. If you want a reliable fun convertable that can go anywhere, the Wrangler is for you. It comes with all the goodies; Cd, cruise, AC, intermitent wipers, etc.

built jeep tough - 2004 Jeep Wrangler
By joe lo - October 29 - 10:00 ami have always owned jeeps, they are great vehicals, they are very reliable, fun to drive, and the build quality is amazing. when you own a jeep you have the best of both worlds, fun in the summer time with the removable soft top and doors and in the winter time you have the trail rated 4wd system. they are very strong and reliable, i have jumped jeeps, taken them through trails that people wouldent wanna walk on and they handle everything great. as far as driving on the road they are pretty smooth at highway speeds, but tend to be bumpy on streets because of the straight axle setup that makes their 4wd system amazing.
