Fantastic ride - 2005 Honda Civic
By sasiren - October 3 - 10:09 pmMy Honda Civic is fabulous - granted I still have very low mileage as all is very convenient where I live. I just had some brake work done today at Firestone for 217 dollars. No problem with the car otherwise.

A Great Car - 2005 Honda Civic
By allie9_21 - September 18 - 10:00 amI actually purchased my car in July of 2001. Not much of the interior or exterior has changed. I love my car. It has held together very well. You can not tell by any means that it is 3 years old. It has great fuel mileage, very reliable, and excellent in comfort. Everyone always wants to borrow my car.

2005 Honda 4-door sedan - 2005 Honda Civic
By Laurie C. - July 13 - 4:26 amI have been in 3 crashes since I purched this car in March of 2005. Though slighly injuring my neck and upper shoulder areas, I escaped with no serious injuries. It is the safest small sedan on the market today IMHO. I generally get 35-40 mpg. July 27, 2006, I just turned over 10,000 mi. It is better than the 2 Accords I previously owned. I am very satisfied with my decision.

The best 2 door coupe - 2005 Honda Civic
By Joe - July 12 - 10:00 amI fell in love with the Special Edition when it first came out. I found that dealers are not too willing to play with the price because it is a SE. I shopped around and ended up getting $2000 off the sticker price. The car is so much fun to drive. It is my first new car, and I have no regrets. Excellent on gas and a very sporty appearance. The car handles great around corners and just driving it period. I got mine in Rallye Red. It sure draws a lot of attention. The Special Edition features are great. An incredible sound system, and unique alloy wheels. The sun roof is a great feature on sunny days. It is worth the money!!! Over all it is an amazing car for the money.

Honda Hybrid, Too often Overlooked - 2005 Honda Civic
By dl091189 - June 30 - 4:30 pmI have a 2005 Hybrid with manual transmission--a rarity. I chose manual for better power and control, and automatic seemed too sluggish. I do sacrifice gas mileage however, but still average about 39mpg no matter where I drive. I love the car, it is well built, fun to drive, and has more power than expected. It is also very comfortable for a long trip. The only drawback is that the "auto stop" function does not always dis-engage, but I found a way around this, but always making sure I am in gear, before the light changes, or double shifting when it stalls. I think this car has been overlooked in the hype over the Prius, which drives like a golf cart, the Civic is a real car!

New car perspective - 2005 Honda Civic
By rsdkaiser - June 27 - 11:56 pmI just bought this car this weekend. Beautiful on the outside, very plain on the inside. Rides very smooth and provides a nice acceleration. Great value but nothing special in the package. This is a great commute car, but not nice enough for a family car. With a few extra purchases at your local auto store you can make it like the upgrades for a lot less. Auto doors, remote starter, remote trunk pop for $179 at your local auto parts store. If you no someone who can put it in for you, you will have the next upgrade for a fraction of the cost.
