Civic Hybrid ROCKS! - 2005 Honda Civic
By Byron - June 12 - 6:33 pmI just got really tired of filling up my Silverado at $50-$55 a fillup and only about 350 miles for that much cash, so I traded for the Civic Hybrid. Now I get over 600 miles for around $25 a fillup. The Civic even has more front seat legroom, and since I am over 6 ft tall, this is big. Its only an inch, but it does make a difference. Seats are as comfortable as the truck, visibility is great also.

Fun in the sun - 2005 Honda Civic
By KB - May 14 - 12:33 amI purchased my Honda Civic a little over two years ago. I went originally to get a Honda Accord. After test driving several cars and even taking one of the Accords home with me for the weekend, I decided on the sporty Honda Civic. I feel for all the options that I got with my car, which was everything they had to offer, the price I paid for it was very reasonable, not to mention the great percentage rate I got on my auto loan. I wont drive anything other than a Honda now.

EX SE 4D Automatic - 2005 Honda Civic
By katie - May 12 - 12:26 pmMy last car was a 99 Honda Civic EX. There have been a lot of very nice changes since that model. I love the spacious feel. I also love that I have a roomy car with great gas mileage. The seat belts are comfortable. Since I am a plus sized woman, that was very important to me. The interior is a little plainer than I would have expected, but the stereo system and the moon roof easily take your attention.

CVT Transmission - 2005 Honda Civic
By ron - April 29 - 5:40 amOwned my Honda from brand new in 2005. Gas mileage about 41 combined city/highway. I have about 80,000 miles on it. I have had problems with my CVT from the start. At 20,000 I had my fluid changed because of a grunting noise at start off. Fifteen thousands miles later the Honda replaced the clutch because of chattering they called it. It seemed to start back grunting at about 50,000. Then on an oil change they detected a motor support broken and replaced it. The grunting seemed to go away but came back soon afterward. Cant seem to get this grunting noise to go away. Has anyone ever heard or had this problem with their CVT transmission? This problems really irritates me!!!

Lovely little hatch - 2005 Honda Civic
By Miyo - April 12 - 7:26 amWhatever the Civic Si lacks in, the originality of the car and the distinctive styling makes up for it. People can make fun of it by calling it a mini-mini van, but in reality, they want it so bad. The interior is unique, with awesome seats manufactured by Recaro (for those of you who didnt know) and the steering wheel manufactured by Momo. Some people may think that $19K is too much for the car, but you have to realize that Honda didnt use any cheap parts or even cheap plastic to build this car. Love the car, love the styling, love the orginality.

Hondas are the best - 2005 Honda Civic
By Steve - April 10 - 8:08 pmI have two 05 Civics, one a 5 speed manual, the other is an auto. The 5 speed has never has any mechanical problems except the clear coat started to peel off the rear bumper after a visit to the car wash. Honda fixed it under warranty and I never had another problem. That car has 70K on it. The auto has 32K. Although they are slugs power wise, I am getting high 30s in the winter and low 40s in the warm weather. Driving a stick can be a pain in traffic, but it consistently gets better mileage than the automatic trans. The Hondas feel like they have been gone over by engineers until they have it right. Drive the car gingerly and dont beat it, get the maintenance done and they will hold up

Special Edition is awesome - 2005 Honda Civic
By Donna - March 27 - 12:43 amThis is my second Honda Civic. My last one was a 2002 and I upgraded to the 2005. This one seems larger and a bit higher and easier to get in and out of since I am tall. It is fun to drive and has a lot of power during acceleration. I am totally pleased with my purchase. I get around 30 mpg combined driving city and highway. You cant beat that.
