This Year's Model Updates:

Pros:
  • Thoughtful interior design, high-quality interior materials, versatile cargo hold, quiet and comfortable ride, high crash test scores, agile handling.

  • Great Car - 2008 Honda CR-V

I needed a new car in a reasonable price range. The CR-V is perfect for my needs. Great highway mileage plenty of space and standard features have everything I need. It is somewhat bumpy at times on rough pavement, but it is dependable and I love the style of the exterior and interior. Also, the safety ratings are great. I live in Ohio and the weather is not great and it has handled very well in the rain and snow. I would definitely recommend this car to anyone looking for a compact SUV or a new car period.

  • For my BABIES - 2008 Honda CR-V

I traded my mighty fast 08 Altima for CR-V because we are anticipating a second baby. I was really surprised when I drove the CR-V, I was thinking a sluggish small SUV. But I was wrong. Sure, there is no head spinning pull (torque) but the power for me is adequate. Interior is first class. Not plastic-y! :-). There was a slight changes of feel coming from a CVT. Size of interior is huge, dont be fooled on outside looks. Overall we (wife) love the vehicle.

  • Excellent Value - 2008 Honda CR-V

I have owned the CR-V for four months, and am extremely satisfied with it. The ride is comfortable and is a good small sized SUV. The only issue is that the computer MPG is almost always slightly higher than my calculated MPG (about 1 mpg error). Other than that, great car...

  • Great car for the $$ - 2008 Honda CR-V

I bought my CR-V EX about a month ago. I choose the EX because I wanted the sunroof, which was standard on the EX model. The car is fun to drive and Ive been very pleased with my purchase. This SUV is very classy looking as well, just as sophisticated as the pricier SUVs. The interior is so roomy, you actually feel like you are in a much bigger vehicle. Nice sized cargo area & the rear seats easily fold up for extra storage.

  • Love the CR-V - 2008 Honda CR-V

This is the first vehicle I have purchased in 24 years, and a lot of research was involved before I bought it. I am so happy - I think I made the right choice. Just got back from a 2000 mile round trip from Oklahoma to Michigan, and the CR-V handled like a dream. Gas mileage was around 27 mpg overall. It was plenty roomy for my two dogs (in the back seat) and I and all our cargo for a week fit nicely in the storage area behind the back seat. LOVE the cargo shelf - it was perfect for lightweight items. I felt very secure in the CR-V; it felt very stable. Plenty of get up and go for passing all the semis!! I imagine that I will have this vehicle for a very long time.

  • No better car for the money - 2008 Honda CR-V

Just purchased our EX-L with Nav in Whistler Silver. Got it for $500 over invoice with 1.9% financing. The dealer had several on the lot and didnt even balk at my offer. Even had them throw in a couple of chrome CR-V license plates to boot. Ive owned several Hondas over the years, and there is NO better car for the money. Fantastic interior, great exterior styling, and Honda reliability. The CR-V is hands down the best value for the money. Looked at a RAV4, and it wasnt even close. The interior wasnt near as nice, and I hate the spare tire on the back.

  • Practical and Dependable - 2008 Honda CR-V
    By -

I owned this vehicle for a short period of time. I was impressed for what it is, but finally came to terms with what it isnt. It IS a thoughtful design that is very practical and reliable. It was NOT a bachelor car. And Im a bachelor. Almost every other CR-V driver I saw was a middle-aged or elderly lady. I got odd comments and reactions when picking up a date - none of the ego stroking I have gotten from even moderately priced sport sedans. Found myself constantly sinking money into accessories to make it into something it wasnt. After 7 months I traded it for a Bimmer. With mild redesign, CR-V could appeal to a broader demographic, but apparently Honda is not concerned about it.

  • YES! - 2008 Honda CR-V

I spent months reading reviews and comparing ratings on all the SUVs on the market. I was willing to spend as much as I had to in order to get a good quality vehicle. Honda ended up to be the winner. Ive had my CR-V for about 5 months. Rain, snow, sleet, hail, etc., drives great. Its the right amount of space and it fits my busy lifestyle perfectly.

  • Love My CRV - 2008 Honda CR-V

I held out for a CRV with navi because I wanted the backup camera. I didnt really care about navi, but as it turns out I love it! CRV has a lot of pep and is fun to drive. I really like that you can get leather seats, moonroof, xm radio, seat warmers etc for under $30k. Gas mileage is a little less than I expected. 21.6 miles per gallon. I am a city driver and a little heavy footed.
