Great car for the money. Gets decent mileage (22 mpg city) driving relatively short distances in the city and does well in the snow. I have had no problems yet, but have noticed that it does not have the same feel of quality that my Accord did (i.e. the doors close with a bang, not the "thunk" or perfection).

I traded an 08 Kia Sorento for my CR- V and couldnt be happier. The build quality is in a class of it own and this vehicle has a very well thought design. Ive owned a Honda in the past and my main complaint with my 04 Accord was road noise, and theyve made great improvements with that. On my first tank the CR-V averaged 24.9 mpg (combined city/hwy). Theres plenty of room for people and cargo and I like how the back sits flip forward. The back lift gate is easy to close, which was a problem with the Sorento, which had a very heavy/cumbersome litigate. Love how wide the doors open! Cant really comment on reliability yet but I expect no major problems since it is a Honda.

  • Awesome Little Red Wagon. - 2008 Honda CR-V

This is the best vehicle Ive ever owned. There have been many of all genres and price. Since 2008 there have been many technological advances. However at the time my CR-V was on the leading edge. It is comfortable, economical, and trouble free. The beautiful red makes it a standout

This car runs great so far, handles very well and the ride is smooth. Engine power is good not many cars on the road can pass you if you dont want them too.

I love this little SUV! I was a little worried about getting an SUV. I drove a 99 Honda Prelude for over 9 years. It was so small and low to the ground, but I have had no problems adjusting to the CR-V! I love Hondas and I fell in love with the CR-V the moment I saw it. When my husband and I test drove it, that was it! It is so much fun to drive and it handles great! I wish the gas mileage was a little better, but hopefully it will improve, as I only have 175 miles on it! It is nice to use regular gas. My Prelude required premium! Its also nice having so much room! I can actually take people in my backseat!

  • All in all, I love my CR-V - 2008 Honda CR-V

I test drove a used 2006 CR-V right before I drove the new 2008 and theres so many differences. The 08 much more roomy, comfortable, efficient, just all around better. Theres been many improvements. I do have to say that aside from the fuel efficiency this is the best car Ive ever owned. Its going to be the perfect car when my family starts to expand.

  • CRV Excellent - 2008 Honda CR-V

Best bang for the buck. A lot of features and a surprising comforting ride. Great on long road trips. Excellent cargo space for smaller families. Great gas mileage around town. Love the viewing angles for the driver, very open. Just the right amount of everything to make this car a great purchase without feeling guilty.

  • Gotta love it! - 2008 Honda CR-V

We love our CRV. We love the cargo capacity and we have hauled just about everything you can think of. We love the comfort of the interior and have taken many driving trips in it. Except that now that it is a bit older and the ride is getting a little bumpy, there is nothing we can say thats negative about this car. Except for the routine oil changes/maintenance, it has not seen the inside of a dealership or repair shop. When we trade it, it will be to get a newer one. Were just that satisfied.

  • CRV-Power Steering Rack - 2008 Honda CR-V
    By -

Just purchased the Honda CR-V EX-L (AWD) and with only 71 miles had a problem with the power steering. Took the car back to the dealer to find out that the power steering rack is leaking power steering fluid. The rack is on back order and they should have the part in 2 days. Anyone ever requested a new vehicle? Im not impressed with the quality or reliability.

Although it was an odd situation at best and far from the expected norm, when we left the dealership, we never made it home. The master cylinder was bad and would not release the brakes after traveling a short distance. At first we were not certain what was going on, but after the third time we had it towed back to the dealership and they checked the calipers and all the brakes. The replaced a few things and still it persisted. They ended up having to change out the master cylinder three times and since then it has worked well.
