Great car - 2008 Honda CR-V
By Lisa - August 25 - 8:20 amI bought this car after much research. I test drove the Chevy Equinox and there was no comparison. I wanted a 4 cyl so I didnt even look at the RAV 4s. We have a 2006 Pilot and 1997 Accord so I knew how reliable the Hondas are. I love this car. Fun to drive, plenty of room. I opted for the ex and glad I did. The seats are beautiful and comfortable. I like the fact that the console fold down. So far no problems. It has plenty of power for a 4 cyl and I live in the valley with many hills.

08 Honda CR-V EX-L FWD with NAV - 2008 Honda CR-V
By lancef - July 27 - 5:40 pmNeeded versatility, comfort, and good MPG. The CR-V fit the bill. We had no intention of getting the NAV system but once we saw what the NAV could do, especially with being integrated with the audio system it became a must have. We checked out the NAVs on Nissan and Mazda and the Honda Alpine unit just blows them away.

My first Honda - 2008 Honda CR-V
By Usanda - July 25 - 5:06 amIts my first Honda and I like it so far except for the fuel consumption. I drive 90% of time on the streets (Los Angeles) and I average 19 miles per gallon. This would be my only concern. On the freeways with no traffic a get about 30 miles per gallon which is pretty good I think. On the positive side, the ride is very comfortable and quiet. Stereo system is awesome with 6 disk changer. I burned my mp3 music on the cds and now I can listen to music for ours without changing a disc. Front and rear seats have a lot of legroom (Im 62). I would definitely recommend this SUV to a friend)

Beware The Roadnoise - 2008 Honda CR-V
By Benton - June 24 - 7:43 pmWhile this is a pretty neat auto the road noise will take away many points. We traded a 2004 Ford Explorer on this car mainly because of the horrible road noise we got with the Ford. We have a neat new auto with almost the same tee same level of noise. We did not notice on the 2 test drives as both days were extremely windy. The dealer now tells me that there is no insulation on this vehicle as it is considered in the Civic family. We were told that the top end Accord and Oddessy would have insulation and be much quieter. Great! The fuel economy is not that great for a 4 cylinder either.

Best SUV For The Money - 2008 Honda CR-V
By Brad - June 19 - 3:40 pmI say I have to agree with most of the reviews. Its still hard for me to believe how much room is inside. Also the foolproof service display tells you when to change your oil, rotate tires and much more. Love this SUV and its looks great. Fun to drive!!! Great job on the new design!

Decent - 2008 Honda CR-V
By jm - May 22 - 1:16 amWe have about 600 miles on our EXL. Generally very satisfied except tire noise on certain road surfaces is noticeable at 70-80 mph fwy speeds. Theres also some wind noise around the doors. Not sure if different than competitors. The high stereo with subwoofer (which is nice) is not an excuse for marginal soundproofing.

Great SUV - 2008 Honda CR-V
By OConnors - May 7 - 2:20 amWe just got the CR-V 2 weeks ago and so far it has met and exceeded our expectations!! The car looks great in black and performs well above what some critics have noted. Plenty of up and go when you need it especially with a 4 cyl and great gas mileage. We are happier every day we drive it. Almost bought a bigger SUV but so glad we went with a CR-V

Great SUV/ Cross Over - 2008 Honda CR-V
By Lynns SUV - March 27 - 4:03 pmWe purchased our CR-V in October 2007. I love this vehicle. Easy to drive, handles the road well, ergonomics are great. The CR-V gets 25-26 MPG in the city. AWD was very good up in Michigan. They had 14" of snow in late January went thru it like it was nothing . My husband I are very pleased with the CR-V. We have 8800 miles on it and love it . Very easy to park also !

Best SUV for your Money!! - 2008 Honda CR-V
By Lynns Suv - March 24 - 10:26 pmWe love the CRV period! Test drove the Ford Escape and the Toyota RAV4. The Honda CRV is very smooth in accelerating, handles the winding roads where we live with ease. The ergonomics inside the CRV are terrific. Love the looks of the exterior. For your money you cannot go wrong with this 4WD, seats are very comfortable, can see out of all areas of the inside cabin, there are no blind spots. You wont regret getting this Honda CRV!
