Im disappointed with the CRVs comfort - 2005 Honda CR-V
By noki - October 18 - 5:46 amI guess it all depends on what you want in a car. Ive always liked the Honda cars Ive had in the past, but Im thinking of trading in my 05 CRV soon. I absolutely HATE the drivers seat, the most uncomfortable of any car Ive ever had by far, Im not sure why but it gave me a headache/ neckache until I got used to it after a couple months. The interior does not seem "designed" so much as improvised to keep costs down. Do NOT get the MANUAL trans model, very poorly designed inside. The inside has many bizarre trays and odd holes that are mostly to completely useless except for the CD case compartment. The stereo is HORRIBLE for a $20k+ car & hard to upgrade! No fun to drive for me... IMO

Pewter SE Problems - 2005 Honda CR-V
By ClaytonHonda - July 18 - 6:16 amI purchased my Pewter Pearl SE on 2/14 from a dealership. It had 24 miles on it when I got it. The next morning there was a puddle on my driveway. Took it for repairs, and they changed out the power steering reservoir and hoses. The next morning, I had a smaller puddle, but this time it was oil. There is a faulty seal. It is 2/17 now and the car is still in the shop. The drives from my house to the service center have been enjoyable. The car is comfortable and seems to drive a lot like a nice car. My wife loves the room and the way it drives. Anyway, the dealer will not replace it, so I guess I will be trading a CRV SE with 100m in and taking a hit. Obviously this one is bad.

A Big Disappointment - 2005 Honda CR-V
By George - January 21 - 12:13 pmMy wife and I bought the vehicle two weeks ago and it has spent more time in the shop then us enjoying it. The vehicle has been there three times for the same problem(front alignment). Afetr each visist we were told that the vehicle was corrected and that it meet Honda specs, and each time they found something else wrong. If this is Honda specs I would advise against purchasing a Honda. The enigne is lack laster at best. The body is suppose to be on a Civic chasis but fels more like a jeep.

CRV Quality - 2005 Honda CR-V
By tom77 - August 29 - 3:50 pmMy CRV is the first non-domestic vehicle that Ive purchased. Ive been disappointed in the quality of the big three automakers for over 35 years and my Honda CRV doesnt seem to be much better. I dont know if the fact that my CRV was built in England has anything to do with the defects that Ive encountered but it shouldnt matter anyway. This CRV was missing numerous body fasteners from the factory and the rear window glass is defective. The engine is losing coolant internally and the dealer doesnt know where its going. There is one door that seems to have a problem with the latch.
