Overview & Reviews
With an all-new model scheduled for '05, there are few changes for the 2004 Ford Mustang. All models wear commemorative 40th anniversary exterior badging, while V6 and GT models can be ordered with a full 40th anniversary package that includes additional exterior and interior enhancements.
- Available V8 power, variety of trim levels, healthy dose of American attitude.
- Archaic underpinnings, cheap interior materials, choppy ride.

Awesome Car - 2004 Ford Mustang
By Othreemstang - February 25 - 2:00 amMy car is a tropic green metallic mustang Gt. It is one awesome car. The car is fast when you want it to be, but it also gets good fuel economy on the highway when you are just crusing in fifth gear (overdrive).

Really Neat Time Machine - 2004 Ford Mustang
By Lake Speed - February 16 - 3:03 pmThis vehicle is a great value and takes me back to when I was a kid. Ive always admired the Mach 1s from my youth and this one delivers on par with the original. Superior car on the road and always gets attention. My wife digs it too!

Only had it a week... Still in love - 2004 Ford Mustang
By KatieBumpkin - October 9 - 10:00 amI love my car... second Mustang.... first was a 94 V6... many maintanence problems with first model... because of extended warranty I am comfortable enough to buy another one. The service personnel at Villa Ford in Orange have been friendly. If you do buy one, stay away from the base sound system. Demand the Mach version or you will be very unhappy. Other then that, the drive is tons of fun!

Ford Mustang GT Deluxe 4.6L - 2004 Ford Mustang
By Old Corps - August 28 - 10:00 amObtained vehicle eight days ago. The car is fun to drive but driver comfort is a problem even with the power seat. Ride is a little stiff and bumpy on local streets.

Head Turner - 2004 Ford Mustang
By grafixwhiz - July 15 - 2:00 amIve had it a little over a week, but have not yet had the top up. The most time spend on the road has been on twisty backroads at irresponsible rates of speed. Cant seem to find the desire to commute to work in it, if I wanted a car like that, Id buy a Honda Elephant or somesuch BoreMobile.

An ICON of FUN! - 2004 Ford Mustang
By RevMatt - June 8 - 11:13 pmNow that I have owned my Ford Mustang Mystichrome SVT Cobra convertible for two full years, I would like to share my experience with the vehicle. This has been the most reliable and fun vehicle I have ever owned. This is my sixth vehicle purchased brand new and my eighteenth total. This is also my seventh convertible. Having written that, I would like to say that the 2004 has been my favorite. I have had ONE problem with it. A bad cigarette lighter socket! The Cobra invites you to mash the gas pedal and delivers awesome power, speed and torque. With its IRS, it also begs to be ridden hard around the twisting and curving roads along the Pacific Coast Highway. Drop the top and GOOOO!
