  • Great car! - 2006 Dodge Charger
    By -

I bought this car used with 40000 miles on it. I have only had one problem with it and that was replacing the inner tie rods($470), I was told that this is a very common repair for these vehicles. Overall, I love driving this car and I would recommend it to anyone. If you buy this car, expect expensive repairs. I recommend extended warenty.

  • Loved Car but Lots of Problems - 2006 Dodge Charger
    By -

I purchased car new 2/06, 1st 15000 miles no problems. Then a transmission leak which was fixed by the dealer. Front rotors warped around 24000 which I had to pay to repair. Around 28000 miles rocker arm shaft dowels sheared in both exhaust shafts- engine rebuild under warranty. Around 32000 miles outer tie rod ends replaced under warranty. Now at 39300 miles I am told that inner tie rod ends are shot & Steering gear needs replacing. Dealership trying to get this covered under warranty but if not $1000 out of my pocket. Never had a car with this many problems so early on. I do not beat on the car and have changed oil every 3000 miles. Must have got a bad one.

  • American Muscle - 2006 Dodge Charger
    By -

Theres no doubt this car is what Dodge intended to create when they designed this baby. A straight- loving American muscle car that grudgingly slumps around corners and then takes off again. My Daytona Charger is quite a head-turner, especially where I live in Daytona Beach, Florida. I love the ability to outrun smaller, faster LOOKING cars and have them stare in disbelief. I love my Daytona and would absolutely suggest it to anyone who isnt looking to spend too much for (relatively) great performance.

  • Can you say HEMI - 2006 Dodge Charger
    By -

I drive this car daily, and it is fun to drive. It is roomy, rides nice, and plenty of power. It is also functional with lots of room in the trunk and a backseat someone can sit in without there knees being in there mouth. One thing about this car it is not for new drivers, it can fool you because it rides so nice because of its size you can be doing 100 mph and it feels like 70 mph. The sterio with the big woofers in the door and amp are nice. The navigation computer works fairly well, and my son loves the DVD player he uses it as a CD player with the headphones so he can listen to his music and I can listen to mine. All in all it is a nice car that turns heads and is fun to drive.

  • Thank God for the 30 day guarantee - 2006 Dodge Charger

This car was horrible. I had to look over the scooped hood just to see the hood. Very uncomfortable even with leather. Awfully cheap feeling and looking interior. Sorry for ever buying it, but thank God for the guarantee. The only thing good was the power. For riding on a Mercedes platform, it was horrible.

  • 2006 Charger RT Great Ride - 2006 Dodge Charger

The new Charger really delivers the performance and comfort. All my friends happily jump in all 4 doors when we go for a ride. The car looks very serious from the outside and inviting on the inside.

  • Luv the power - 2006 Dodge Charger

This is my 2nd Dodge. I do not have the Hemi, and I feel there is no need to really have it. I wish it had the radio and other controls on the steering wheel like my Monte. I use the manual shift at times when I need that extra power in tight places. Great on gas for the power it has. My favorite color is the Black. I have had one problem with the car, and I have had it into the Dodge Dealer 2xs and they still dont have it fixed. The right side rear window motor keeps going bad and now that it is out the service agreement Im not really sure who to trust in fixing the problem. I wish it came with a sunroof also. Great looking car for it being a 4 door, I never thought I would buy one.

  • Best Car I have ever owned! - 2006 Dodge Charger
    By -

The size, the power, the styling, and that scowl of the front end hooked me from the start. I have always owned Japanese cars and was reluctant to try Dodge particularly in the first model year. But now I am glad I did. This car kicks, turns heads and is fast, responsive, comfortable and quiet. Rides like a Mercedes. I have silver with 20" chrome wheels and Goodyear RSA Z rated performance tires, a real head turner! I have had no problems at all so I am surprised at some of the reviews where people have. This car shines like a diamond in a sea of what seems to be a lot of ugly drab cars today.

  • Yeah its got a Hemi.. - 2006 Dodge Charger
    By -

I searched high and low for a car that met all my expectations for 7 months, when finally the Daytona Spec charger made eyes with me. It was love at first drive. Performance is blistering on the straights. The car needs wider wheels/tires at least at the back because the torque when gunned is overwhelming for the stock set up. Interior materials are average American at best, but this is not why I purchased the car. The mighty 5.7 V8 Hemi is a heart stopper, the feeling of unequal ecstasy and exhilaration when this bad boy is revving high is what legends are made of. Go out and buy one now!

Love the car as a daily driver with the performance of a sports car! Almost as much fun to drive as my Mustang GT convertible. The gas mileage is good on a trip..
