This Year's Model Updates:

The Pacifica is an all-new six-passenger vehicle that combines the attributes of a wagon, minivan and SUV.

Pros:
  • Exceptional comfort for four, drives more like a sedan than a minivan, top-notch safety scores, upscale interior design.
Cons:
  • Average room for six, not as family-friendly as most minivans, gets expensive when you add high-end options, fussy climate and radio controls.

  • No Power! - 2004 Chrysler Pacifica

Car looks and drives nicely with one MAJOR exception. . . No Power. The 3.5L Engine is far less (60-HP) than this heavy boat needs for the get up and go. If this car had an engine, it would put the BMW X5 into the morgue!

  • NICE, BUT..... - 2004 Chrysler Pacifica

Great pick up. Rear window narrower than I would like ...after a month I hope the mileage gets better. Fun to drive ...l

  • Gas Mileage - 2004 Chrysler Pacifica

The biggest complaint I hear about the Pacifica is the gas mileage. For you Pacifica owners, I have replaced the stock air filter with a K@N filter. Sinse I have my mileage has increased approx 3 miles to the gallon. That is in town only, have not taken on a trip as of yet. The cost of the filter can be somewhere around $30.00 to 40.00. Money well spent.

We drove a number of these before we bought one and loved the way they road. However this one after we bought it seemed to ride rougher than the others. It seems to shake back and forth when going down streets at 35 to 4o mph. Highway driving is great.

  • After 3 years, still love it - 2004 Chrysler Pacifica

Weve had our Pacifica for just under 3 years (40,000 miles) and it has proven to be a great car. The ride is very comfortable, I could drive all day in this thing. The fold down seats allow for great cargo space and the 2nd row seats are very comfortable. 3rd row is a little cozy. Weve had no problems mechanically thus far (knock on wood). The dual climate controls are great. My wife says she feels very safe in this big car. Wish wed gotten the heated front seats for Minnesota winters. The AWD is great in snow. The only knock we have is the poor gas mileage. I wouldnt hesitate to recommed the Pacifica.

  • Cant find anything better than this! - 2004 Chrysler Pacifica

I drove my present vehicle until our family outgrew it. I was sick to part with my old truck, but had spent a couple years researching cars. I had decided a year in advance that the Pacifica would suit all my needs, without having test-driven it. I found my Pacifica on the first day of shopping, and bought it on the same day. The interior is beautiful, and there are so many extras. I am spoiled now. It is big enough for a family of 4-6, has extremely comfortable seating, but isnt too high off the ground for us short people. Seats are far apart so we dont have to hit elbows. Now I can afford a more expensive car, but will not part with my Pacifica!

Nice ride, but sluggish on take off. Needs more power and better gas mileage.

  • PERFECT VEHICLE IF IT WAS A HYBRID - 2004 Chrysler Pacifica
    By -

I LOVE THIS VEHICLE. IT GOT ME HOME FROM WORK IN SNOW STORMS,ETC. IT IS LUXURIOUS BUT PRACTICAL. I LOVE ALL THE STANDARD CONVENIENCES - MORE THAN I WOULD HAVE PURCHASED IF I HAD TO PICK. TOO BAD IT GETS SUCH POOR GAS MILEAGE.

  • Car okay - Chrysler Service terrible - 2004 Chrysler Pacifica
    By -

I knew several negatives about the car prior to purchase, too many blind spots. The car has been okay but the service department have been terrible now there everything is wrong because they did not identify transmission problems at 14,000 miles when 1st complaint was submitted. Id never purchase another Chrysler product for that reason.

  • Bad on gas & off road - 2004 Chrysler Pacifica
    By -

The car looks great, confortable, drives well, exellent handling, seams a bit heavy, but outrageos gas consumption, really bad off road, the V6 3.5 Ltr. engine needs more power, very noisy engine.
