Overview & Reviews
The four-door Double Cab joins the 2004 Toyota Tundra lineup. The Double Cab rides on an extended wheelbase of 140.5 inches, and features a cargo bed equal in length to the Access Cab's while gaining 3.5 inches of depth.
- Smooth and refined V8, Toyota build quality and reliability, easy maneuverability in urban areas, roomy Double Cab configuration.
- Lacks serious brawn for towing and hauling, uncomfortable front seats, cramped rear seat in Access Cab, chintzy interior trimmings.

what a truck - 2004 Toyota Tundra
By Douglas2 - December 29 - 2:00 amJust bought the 4 door limited a few week ago so far I love it. It drives so smoothly. I just got rid of my Ford Supercrew and the difference in comfort and ride is unbelievable. I also had a Silverado before the Ford. Still no comparison. I had all intentions of buying the new Nissan Titan in fact I was on my way to the Nissan dealership to order one but instead stopped at the Toyota dealership and test drove the Tundra. It won hands down.

A Good Work Truck - 2004 Toyota Tundra
By tvrehas - October 28 - 2:13 amThe truck is solidly built and takes on construction sites with ease. The interior materials are top notch and the seats are very supportive. Though compared with other trucks the rear seat is tight and space to store items is scarce. Also, expected gas mileage on the highway to be better than 18 mpg.

By toyotas rule - October 10 - 2:00 amToyota has done it again they have improved on an already great truck. Safety, reliabilty, predicted resale value why look at anything else. And you would never believe my salespersons name "Rusty Lemmon." And I will recommend Kendall Toyota again and again.

Toyota Tundra - 2004 Toyota Tundra
By alskep - July 2 - 3:46 amTruck rides very good for a pickup. A little bouncy but ride is close to that of a car. Solid truck construction. Handles great on the road.

By a9mmauto - June 23 - 9:06 pmThis is a solid fun, and well built truck. I do some light towing, 3200 lbs no problem. I think this version is the best looking Toyota ever built. Off road amazing!

Wonderful truck - 2004 Toyota Tundra
By Shewolf - May 24 - 10:00 amI traded in my Toyota Tacoma for the Tundra, there is much more room inside and is larger and easier to handle. My Tundra is much smoother riding than my husbands Dodge Ram and I wouldnt hesitate to drive across country in my Tundra.

Toyota has built the right truck - 2004 Toyota Tundra
By JaxTundra04 - May 24 - 10:00 amThis is my second Tundra and my second Toyota. I used to drive Nissans for years, but their build quality and service department has gone down hill. The Tundra is a great truck that does not require frequent trips for repairs, and it holds its value, unlike so many other trucks. I see people writing reviews here that are either just trying to bring down the Tundra because its not a "domestic" truck, or they are just flat out lying. If you buy a Tundra, you will not be disappointed.
