Luxury without the obvious luxury name - 2005 Toyota Land Cruiser
By rbaker - August 15 - 2:30 pmNice car overall. Cons include difficulty accessing CD changer and understanding how to use the DVD player.

Toyota Land Cruiser - 2005 Toyota Land Cruiser
By stephen king - June 12 - 3:43 amThis vehicle handles as well as a BMW SUV but is more reliable and less expensive to service. I recently drove through some wetlands in mine and had no difficulty at all. Toyotal dealerships are plentiful (unlike BMW) making service convenient for me. I will definitely buy this vehicle again.

Why change something that works! - 2005 Toyota Land Cruiser
By Crusier Guy - May 6 - 7:50 pmIm a SUV lover. Ive owned trucks, cars, and other SUVs and this is by far the best SUV Ive ever owned. Its amazing how solid it is built. It rides nice, has great handling in the snow, my only problem is its so nice I dont want to get it dirty! Ive had it for some months now and I wouldnt change! The safety features are great as well. On some of the down sides, Gas mileage is bad considering the lack of horsepower and torque. The nav system is great and it doesnt require a DVD. One frustrating thing, you can hardly do anything on the nav system while driving the vehicle, the restrictions are too strict and should be loosened up so you can use it w/out stopping the car.

Fun Run - 2005 Toyota Land Cruiser
By bob - September 12 - 11:33 amLong trip, short trip; the Land Cruiser makes just a trip to the store a "Fun Run". We had a Town and Country and look all over for a vehicle that had that ride and comfort with the SUV safety. Most were just built up trucks. Cadilac had a great exterior, but was a chevy truck inside with just more padding. The LC is functional, fun, and the inside is built for the vehicle and the drivers and passengers favor. The problem is the wife took it and I have to drive the T&C to work...

MY Landcruiser - 2005 Toyota Land Cruiser
By Toymom - May 12 - 4:56 pmThis auto is well built and sturdy, stands up to the elements. It is high enough off the ground to have a good clearance for 4 wheel driving, a necessity for gold prospecting and camping in remote places. Yet it isnt too high that I cant get in easily. I like the hand holds to assist getting in, the height off the road so I can see traffic well ahead of me and the protection it affords me in the event of an auto accident (My last Landcruiser was totalled and I walked away without so much as a scratch). The vehicle is also roomy for hauling cross country track teams, chess teams, martial arts teams, campimg gear, and symphony instruments around.

Great Vehicle - 2005 Toyota Land Cruiser
By Rob Karas - November 13 - 5:13 amThis is by far the most comfortable vehicle I have ever owned. I have owned Mercedes, Jeeps, Hondas and Toyotas in the past but never a Land Cruiser. The other day I was at an outdoor festival and we parked in the grass. It started to pour down rain and soaked everything. When we were leaving there were lots of SUVs which were spinning there wheels in mud and the grass, but we had no problem in the grassy field or going through the mud. The best part was that I didnt even have to switch to 4 wheel drive since it is in it full time. I love this vehicle.

My 5th LandCruiser - 2005 Toyota Land Cruiser
By William Rose - October 7 - 5:10 amThis my 5th Land Cruiser. I was going to switch to the LX 470, but decided that my 4 and 7 year old boys could spill milkshakes and ketchup in a Land Cruiser just as easy as in a Lexus! Great vehicle. I bought this one sight unseen at the end of the year and didnt get the exact interior package that I wanted, but thats not big deal.
