  • Fast and gorgeous Subaru! - 2018 Subaru Legacy

I bought this car two weeks ago. I was hesitant to buy a Subaru because they are all over the roads here. I test drive the car, and the dealership treated me very well. After this, I knew that the Legacy V6, was the right car for me! I’m loving this car more every day that I drive it! I make excuses to drive this car as much as possible. Pros: -fast and instant acceleration. -quiet inside even with V6. - absolutely beautiful loaded interior with comfortable seats and pretty blue lights. -infotainment Center is easy to use and has STARLINK . -security system included. -elegant exterior -AWD included. -Subaru is a great company and very customer service orientated. Cons: -Remote start only runs for 15 minutes then shuts off. Haven’t figured out if I can change this. -CarPlay skips on occasion. Both cons are not faults with the vehicle itself, which is why it gets 5 stars.

If you are looking for a well-optioned, all-wheel drive vehicle with a good amount of technology and safety features for under $30,000, you should seriously consider the Subaru Legacy 2.5i Limited with the EyeSight and Navigation package. The safety features are extraordinary as demonstrated by our salesman during the test drive with the forward collision braking and rear brake assist. The options are competitive with higher tier brands plus this model has REAR HEATED seats--not many mid-level luxury brands offer this until you pass the $55k price point.

  • Great car with one glitch - 2018 Subaru Legacy

Love the car. The handling, comfort and safety are the best. However, occasionally the 8 inch screen has an issue. It will go blank and none of the controls will bring it back (including the ones on the steering wheel). The only fix is to reboot (turn the car off and wait a minute or so). Fortunately, it does not appear to have an impact on the cars drive ability or safety. Since it happens just occasionally not a big issue. Iam sure if I took it to the dealer it would not happen. I suspect a computer update during a service visit will fix the issue. One more thing. Sure wish it had a front parking assist similar to one it has when backing up.

  • Great car for a great price - 2018 Subaru Legacy

I tested the new Camry, Accord, and Sonata before deciding to purchase the Subaru Legacy. There were many reasons that included overall value, safety, performance, and reliability. In addition, the Harmon-Kardon sound system is superior to all of the other offerings. While I am still breaking the car in, I am getting better MPG than I anticipated, and the safety features give me great security while on the roadway where no one is paying attention anymore. I was told that the base 2.5 engine was not very energetic, but I have not found that to be the case. The base engine is very peppy and I have no problems merging into traffic in the DC metro area.

  • A Good Car Made Better - 2018 Subaru Legacy

Took a 2018 Legacy Premium lease late August. Aside from a small software problem Subbru has promised a fix for soon, this is a much, much better car than the 2104, and quite a bit better than the 2011 we liked more than the 2014. Fixes: 1) much less tiring steering feel, 2) much quietier, especially the drivetrain & transmission 3) seating more comfortable, 4) ride/suspension vastly improved, and 5) a bunch of small but important interior feature/comfort changes. The most dramatic improvement was the highway mileage; our last trip at 74 mph on a pretty hilly NYS Thruway was 39+ mpg for the 250 miles - pretty good for a pretty good sized AWD car. That is about 33% better than the about 30 mpg for the 2014. City mileage is just a little better. To be redundant, Subaru made some very good and important changes.

  • Love the car but HATE the cruise control - 2018 Subaru Legacy
    By -

We bought the 2018 Legacy because we think Subaru has safe vehicles. We also have an Outback and we are very happy with it. Unfortunately, we did not realize the cruise control had been updated and advances and decreases in 5 mph increments. This is very dangerous trying to get the cruise set at the speed you want rather than watching the road. We have complained to Subaru and were told if enough complaints they might do a software update. We are even considering a different car that does not have this type of cruise. We like the car and it gets great gas mileage. We just wish that not just Subaru, but other auto manufacturers would go back to the basic cruise control that only increases/decreases 1 mph.

  • Another New Subaru Fan! - 2018 Subaru Legacy

Just about 400 miles on my new 2018 Legacy and I love it! So far, so good. Everything seems great. Im expecting this to continue. Our Legacy is a very nice looking sedan; twilight blue is the color we selected with a gray cloth interior. The sound system is fabulous! We love the clear quality of the sound whether it be radio, CD, or Sirius XM. Im very satisfied with my purchase.

  • Almost the perfect sedan - 2018 Subaru Legacy

If you are shopping for a classy, updated, contemporary sedan, look at the 2018 Subaru Legacy limited. I’m coming from a 2015 Legacy which I liked very much. This 2018 Legacy has a much tighter suspension and quicker handling. It has good acceleration quite acceptable for everyday routine driving. I was also impressed that road highway noise has been reduced over my 2015 Legacy. However, I am really disappointed with the seat comfort. The seats are extremely hard so be prepared for back and leg pain on long trips. I did not pick this up on the test drive unfortunately. It was discovered on my first hour long trip. About 30 minutes into the trip, my butt went numb all the way down through my right foot. The leather looks very nice, but buyer beware of the hard seats.
