Overview & Reviews
For 2010, the Mazda CX-7 gets a refresh that brings a new SV trim level, a new base engine, higher fuel economy for the turbocharged engine, a revamped interior and a new face that shows off Mazda's bigger, happier grille.
- Sporty handling, strong performance from the turbocharged four-cylinder, solid build quality, attention-getting design, excellent safety ratings.
- Below-average interior utility, turbo engine is thirsty and its power delivery is not as smooth as that of V6 rivals.

I am disappointed - 2010 Mazda CX-7
By Luther Ho - May 5 - 1:24 pmI bought 2 Mazda a 2009 CX-9 and a 2010 CX-7 the CX-9 had window problems all four windows a at different times the windows motor had to be replaced blind spot monitor has problems. The CX-7 also have window problems. We have owned Infinitys, Mitsubishi and Nissan cars and we never had any problems only change tires and oil and general maintenance our two Mazdas are like lemons. I would never ever buy a Mazda again. Both Mazda were bought brand new and even at this moment the driver side on the CX-9 window needs to be repaired again and my Mazda 7 the computer needs to be reprogrammed.

Best Crossover for your $ - 2010 Mazda CX-7
By SoCalGal - November 20 - 7:13 amI have had my Mazda CX-7 for a month now. It has been nothing short of a great experience. The display of average and current fuel economy is helpful. What set it apart from others in its price range was the interior styling. I chose the black cloth, which has silver accents on the door panels. The trunk space is amazing, with enough room to pack essentials for a weekend getaway. It is comfortable on long drives and handles great on curves, hills, you name it. Spring for the iSport model over the iSV edition. The Bluetooth alone is worth it.

Zoom Zoom - 2010 Mazda CX-7
By cfrantz84 - April 21 - 10:00 amMy Wife and I love are new CX-7. We were very impressed with the performance style. We test drove the Nissan Murano and the Ford Escape but none of the two got are attention like the CX-7 did. For the money you cant beat this SUV. I can honestly say this is really the first car that we just enjoy driving. All I can say is ZOOM ZOOM

Great family car with sporty look! - 2010 Mazda CX-7
By Sebastian - March 3 - 8:27 amI loved driving the car for long and short distance rides with my wife and 15 month old son. The big light truck tires are exactly what you need on Michigan roads with tons of potholes. The car is quite heavy, but still handling was great in all whether conditions. I was driving on wet streets, in ice and snow (having snow tires) and always felt a bit ahead of the other guys, because the car is very stable.

Fun To Drive - 2010 Mazda CX-7
By Wendie - December 22 - 4:13 amI spent 2 months shopping for a SUV. I narrowed it down to the Nissan Rouge, Hyundai Santa Fe, and Kia Sorento. The Mazda was my favorite for handling, reliability, and looks. Its sassy and provides power to ease in and out of Atlanta traffic. The CX- 7 has sleek lines and doesnt have that boxey SUV look (like the Sorento and Santa Fe). The cargo area is large enough to accommodate my 2 sheepdogs. Ive owned a couple of American made SUVs and Mazda blows their doors off.

Move over BMW, Lexus and Infinity. - 2010 Mazda CX-7
By Wikoli - December 3 - 10:56 amTraded an 09 Santa Fe: ran well but unexciting & subpar fit & finish (another review). Improvements on the 10 CX-7 GT are significant, and and are the reason we purchased. And hopefully Mazdas addressed all issues (A/C compressor, turbo, ride, quietness, MPG etc.). I find this car a lot of fun to drive, and the new interior is very nice. Think youd have to buy BMW, Infinity or Lexus to meet or beat this thing. Got the Red on light leather and it looks fantastic. Some turbo lag, but you have to drive it right. Finese it, and once its rolling, it flies. It does have road noise on rough roads, but worth the trade-off for great handling. Hopefully its reliable cause Im Im lovin it.

CX-7 Heaven - 2010 Mazda CX-7
By Alan O. - October 5 - 9:32 pmWe love the car for all its positives above. Cons: front pillar blind spots and so-so fuel economy. With current fuel prices however, no big deal.

Great car - 2010 Mazda CX-7
By s.marie - September 5 - 1:06 pmIve had my 2010 Mazda CX-7 AWD Touring for about two weeks now and I adore it. I test drove just about every crossover/SUV and just kept coming back to this one due to the sleek styling and the fun handling. Nothing else in this price range compares to it. I love this car!

Surprisingly fun family car - 2010 Mazda CX-7
By rac20585 - August 18 - 12:35 amWhen I bought this car, it was a necessary "downsizing" for me from a GMC Acadia (basically I took what I could get to get my payments more affordable). I didnt expect to like it; it was just something I bought to "get me by." Well, to my surprise, I am now a Mazda customer for life! This car has been very reliable, affordable, and fun to drive. Everything on the interior is clean and easy to use, and I think the exterior has a nice look to it as well. My family is growing so I am now taking advantage of the Mazda loyalty program to get a nice discount on the bigger CX-9. So glad I made this purchase!
