After last year's major refresh, Lexus chose to keep changes simple this year. The lone change is to the optional 18-inch alloy wheels, which are now available as a stand-alone extra.

• Superb ride quality, impressive array of standard and optional luxury features, premium interior materials, Lexus reliability, top-notch dealer service.

• Not as athletic as some competitors, adding options raises the price to unLexus-like levels.

  I have owned/driven most of the luxury European cars. This is my second Lexus , the first 1995. The Lexus is much the superior to anything on the road.

  This is the best vehicle I have owned. I traded an S-Type Jag and there is no comparison. the room and quietness is fantastic. The ride is very smooth and the quality of the car seems to be excellent.

  I traded a 1999 LS400 which was near perfect...but the 2005 LS 430 w/the Nav-Sport Package....is just perfect ! It sells itself...but the quality & reliability cant be understated !

  My second LS 430, this one trumps the 02 I had easily. The seats are much improved, and near perfect now. Handling is better, though not a Bimmer, its good. Dependability is perfect. Love the Bluetooth phone, which works flawlessly with my Treo every time. The A/C is the best Ive ever known, and the cooled seats are welcome in the desert. Cant get more luxury value for the money, IMO.

  It seems reliability has finally become an issue with Lexus with the LS 430 2004 model. My car is 12 months old and has already had 4 recalls, some rather serious like a bad fuel pump and faulty automatic transmission. I have also had my park-assist quit which was not a recall. However, Lexus dealerships are the best and you couldnt be looked after better unless they put you up at the Ritz while they worked on your car. Mercedes and BMW seem to care less, which is why my 2006 will also be a Lexus.

  The Best car for Summer time, dont drive it in winter, I mean you can but on the snow I wouldnt recommend.

  The most awesome ride on wheels. Tremendous spunk when passing, smooth acceleration and great gas mileage. I went from Green Bay, WI to Omaha, NE on one tank of gas (594 miles).

  Guys, I drove everything... From Benz to Jaguar. Nothing has the quality, class, luxury, or reliability of the Lexus. The car sounds like its off while you driving on the freeway, its that quiet! This is hands down the best sedan on the market today. Sorry to the benz, BMW and jag loyalists out there. The Lexus is the king.
