For 2003, 17-inch wheels are standard, replacing the 16-inchers. The climate control front seats and park-assist feature, formerly included only with the Ultra Luxury or Custom Luxury packages, are now available as stand-alone options. Finally, base cars ordered with the climate control front seats now feature perforated leather trim throughout.

• Superb ride quality, impressive array of standard and optional luxury features, top-notch interior materials, Lexus reliability.

• Not quite as athletic as its competitors, adding options raises the price to un-Lexuslike levels.

  I love my 2002 Lexus. It is dependable, comfortable and I feel as though Im completely in control. It drives and turns and corners beautifully.

  Over one year and we cant find a single problem with the car. Change oil and rotate tires and thats all. A 600 mile day trip and we are not even tired. Great ride.

  Traded in a 2000 M/B 500S. This car is far superior in construction, engineering, performance and is also "fun to drive." I cant imagine that I did not make the switch before! Finally, every trip to the dealership is met with courtesy and a caring that was never there with the Mercedes dealers. Lexus is happy that you came in; Mercedes always had the attitude that "you should be glad we are here to help you!"

  Whats to say? Outstanding ride, performance, build quality, stereo system is amazing, Nav is useful, pindrop silent even when flying down the freeway at 100mph, the list goes on and on and on...

  This is my second LS sedan, having leased one in 1999. After checking the market closely, the LS430 is tops in most all areas. MBs new E500 is close second, but for open interstate roads and in town routine driving, this is really a dream.

  Incredibly quiet with excellent performance. Reliability beyond expectations. Customer service has no equal. Fuel economy is great considering the performance. 20+ MPG including city driving.

  I purchased the LS430 and I love this car so much. I think this is best car in the world and would never trade it for a MB or BMW. It is so quiet you have to look at the RPM gauge to make sure its on. The dash glows with delight. In bright sunlight the dash does not drown out the beautiful LED lights on it. The AC has digital read out wright in middle of the car so you can read it for driver and passanger. You cannot go wrong with the this LS430.

  I have owned a 2000 E450 & 2003 E320. Did not like first, though I would like second. Had lots of mechanical (electrical) problem. Wife has a LS430 and we both loved it. I traded 2003 E320 for another LS 430. Now we both have one and both of us love them. No problems at all. It makes you look for a reason to go somewhere.
