Fun first coupe owned - 2008 Hyundai Tiburon
By Bokyung - December 29 - 6:46 pmAt first, I was attracted to the more powerful Civic Si, Scion tC, and the GTi from VW. The GTi and Si not being in my price range, I had to choose between the tC or Tiburon, which was very easy. The Tiburon GS is a great little coupe that looks a LOT better then most coupes in its price range. The Tiburon has a decent acceleration, and decent high-speed max. Handling is very good, and this car is also a good platform for the modding enthusiasts. The car is small, so its easy to maintain the exterior and interior.

Excitment on the Road - 2008 Hyundai Tiburon
By Tom - December 17 - 9:56 amThis is a great looking car and for me a great time to buy. With Owner Loyalty and rebates this car is a great bargain. I purchased for a 17 year old driver but I find myself borrowing the car every chance I get.

Im Luvin it! - 2008 Hyundai Tiburon
By TibGirl15 - December 6 - 9:16 pmMy 2208 Hyundai Tiburon GS is my first BRAND NEW car ever & was DEFINITELY worth the wait. Everything about this car is awesome...and you cant beat Hyundais warranty either. I was looking for a cute *sportsy* car that was good on gas AND insurance...this fit the bill. The 4 cyl. has more than enough power to get you moving when you want it! And it took me awhile to get used to all the head turning looks that this vehicle gets while youre driving.

By Sold!! - November 20 - 4:06 pmMy tiburon has 16000 miles and I bought it brand new. It runs awesome, comfy, and looks sporty as hell. People stop and ask me what kind of car I own, and they are blown away when I say its a Hyundai. Awesome car!

Very nice sporty car - 2008 Hyundai Tiburon
By Shirley Beavan - August 27 - 7:03 amFun little sporty car that looks hot and has a nice interior to match. My car handles very well, gets decent mpg from the little 2.0 and with manual mode has nice acceleration. I test drove a Honda Accord coupe 4 cylinder, but this car has tighter handling, better warranty for $4000 less.

You get what you pay for! - 2008 Hyundai Tiburon
By LovetheTib - July 14 - 9:00 pmI have owned both the Tiburon GS and SE. Though I loved the GS for its fuel economy and affordable pricing, the SE surpasses it by miles. I noticed that the only negative reviews about the Tiburon are from owners of the base trim; all I can say is that you get what you pay for! Though I prefer a good old fashioned American V8, the six speed manual transmission that comes standard on the SE makes the most of the 180 horsepower offered by this V8. This car FLIES and the upgraded suspension and brakes(better than the GT) make this car a blast to drive on the back roads! Not to mention - the SE tops out around 150. Hyundai always has and always will make the most car for the money.

What a sweet ride~~~ - 2008 Hyundai Tiburon
By Sean - April 29 - 5:46 pmWhen Hyundai redesigned the Tiburon, I had to get it. It looks so stylish. I love the freshly designed front and rear. The 17in RIM is also very nice. With blue interior lights, car looks great at night too. Performance is pretty good too, although it can be improved. Im sure the new Genesis coupe will be excellent in terms of performance. Best of all, Tiburon is real fun to drive.

Beware the clutch - 2008 Hyundai Tiburon
By Bill - January 26 - 10:00 amSERIOUS CLUTCH ISSUES-clutch covered for 12k miles-every vehicle Ive owned was a standard, Tiburon clutch is junk, lasted 25k and died. Dealership blames "driving operation"-bunk!-owned all standards for 20+ years and never replaced a clutch in less than 90k- this lasted 25k-search "Tiburon Transmission" on Yahoo and youll see there is a problem with the design of the clutch-it simply doesnt last- mostly highway, experienced standard driver I would expect more than 25k- good chance you wont get it-BEWARE- Ill never buy a Hyundai again- powertrain warranty isnt worth the paper it is written on

Im Glad I did - 2008 Hyundai Tiburon
By Katie - January 19 - 6:56 pmIve now put 3500 miles on my Tiburon. We seem to be getting used to one another. So far I am very happy with my sporty little ride. I get compliments often and lookers regularly. I am really enjoying it and its overall performance it plenty for me. Never thought I would want a sports [or in this case just sporty] car, but Im glad I did. Ive read reviews containing comments about the lack of leg room in the back seat. Come on, does anyone expect back seat leg room in a sports car.
