Excellent value - 2006 Hyundai Tiburon
By ccrater4 - September 5 - 4:36 amI bought my Tiburon GT for $8000 about a year ago. Ive loved it since day one. It is over all an awesome car to drive. Although, it is not the fastest car. If you are looking for something to race it may not be for you. Its lack of power isnt justified by its fuel economy. I would expect better than 18 city from a 2.7L V6. Over all I would recommend this car to anyone. It is a great deal and is very fun to drive.

By mike34293 - August 20 - 9:50 amThere isnt much to say except that there isnt anything on the market that competes with this car. Its short comings are minor and the quality is unbelievable.

Love my tibby - 2006 Hyundai Tiburon
By Skygirl - July 15 - 3:10 amI love this car. I was in the market for a mazda and they wouldnt come down on the price so i went and test drove my tibby and fell in love. To get a car with power windows and locks and all for $18000 u cant beat that. I was looking for something sporty that i could fix up performancewise and make my own and it is really easy to do that with this car.

Great Car for the Value - 2006 Hyundai Tiburon
By Ron - July 4 - 9:53 pmIm very happy with my purchase. Im not really a "car" guy, I see it mostly as transportation nothing else. When I saw this car I loved the look immediatly and the GT Limited leater interior is great looking. Performance wise its all I could want and need. Gas mileage isnt as good as many smaller cars but I knew that going in. Friends will always tell you its a nice car, but strangers come up to me commenting on what a great looking car it is and I can see it gets a lot of attention when Im going down the road. Great color (electric red) with a great design makes this car look at feel as good as the mor expensive sports cars. I love it.

I love my Tiburon - 2006 Hyundai Tiburon
By kman1989 - March 17 - 12:36 pmIt was used with 21,500 miles on it. I bought it right off the bat. I havent had any trouble with it what so ever. Im actually looking into tuning it up. It handles like no other and the ride is smooth. The sound system is great for being stock. The mpg is great too. I live in Idaho and I drove to Salt Lake City, Utah and back on 1/2 tank of gas and its about a 4 or 5 hour drive from where I live.

Piece of CRAP!!!!!!!!! - 2006 Hyundai Tiburon
By megan - March 4 - 4:16 amLet me start by saying that I have had nothing but trouble with this car in the 15 months that i owned it. It the first two months the power window broke and the visor fell off. After 12 months & 13,000 miles I had to put $1,400 dollars into getting a new clutch since the warranty expires after 12 months or 12,000 miles. Not to mention that before i traded it in they told me i had another problem with the transmission. Be aware also that any up grades will void your warranty, including changing your own oil. I will never buy another Hyundai...period

Hyundai missed the mark with this model - 2006 Hyundai Tiburon
By Tony - February 16 - 8:43 amI had owned a Sonata prior to picking out a brand new Tiburon GT in March of 2007. At just under 19K miles the clutch and flywheel went out on me. Hyundai would not cover this under warranty and dismissed the transmission failure as though I did not know how to drive a manual transmission. The wheel bearings went out on 3 separate occasions as well. The V6 is thirsty resulting in low MPG. Horrible under-steer. Some tricky blind spots until you get use to it. Hyundais also have crummy resale value. Overall the car is fun to drive, however I highly encourage an extended warranty.

Perfect Car for 16-Yr-Old Sons 1st Car - 2006 Hyundai Tiburon
By thewalker - December 15 - 4:46 pmPurchased it for 16-year-old sons birthday (1st car-Dec.7 05) and we love it. We did not get the V6 because I dont want something that would be too much of a hot rod for a young driver. We find that it has PLENTY of pep for take off and city driving, as well as highway. Ive read reviews that say its underpowered, but we beg to differ. Perhaps compared to a turbo or sports car with a larger engine, but I drive a Jetta turbo and I still find this car to be outstanding. Its solid, beautiful and has the best warranty you can find anywhere. In fact, weve already decided to buy another one next year, so we will be repeat buyers when the 07 comes out.
