Only 4 years old and rusting - 2005 Hyundai Tiburon
By nfinitygrl - September 27 - 5:40 pmThis was my first new car and Ive completely loved driving it. Its fast, gotten me out of scary highway situations more than once and its never, ever given me mechanical problems. Ive kept up all maintenance diligently as I didnt want to void any of the warranties. The low profile tires are a bit pricey to replace but other than that, upkeep hasnt been bad. The car sits low and that helps increase chances of a cracked windshield, which Ive replaced once. But after having the car for only 4 years, it is rusting in 3 places. Hyundais warranty wont fix it as the 3 year paint warranty expired and the rust hasnt "perforated" the metal completely. Sadly, I will be replacing it :(

By msasscts - August 1 - 8:43 pmI have had three clutches so far in the car. The dealer has proven to be unreliable in service.

Constantly making it better - 2005 Hyundai Tiburon
By Dave - May 15 - 9:23 pmI was wowed when I drove this little pocket rocket. Superb performance, acceleration and braking. I bought it after one test drive. I was somewhat dismayed when it was recalled by Hyundai after owning it for only one week to replace tie rods that apparently were not standing up to their (Hyundais) expectations. They further upgraded the steering gear to compliment the upgrade. Despite my temporary disappointment, I was impressed and delighted how fast and incredibly efficient Hyundai is at correcting a problem in their product. This is one great little car that is tight, fast and comfortable. Dont compare the 2005 Tiberons to the first ones, this is a whole different animal!

By dontbuyit - August 31 - 12:30 amI bought this vehicle from the dealership at first the vehilce was fine, i got 1/2 mi down the road they never put antifreeze in the car!! then they drove me around in circles on what they were going to do. I called hyundai Motor America and they have not called back in 3 weeks on what is going on they said they would trade out vehicle. Nothing has happened. Some plastic pieces are allready falling off the car. and it has 1400 mi not worth the money that they want for it. unless its free dont bother buy a mini cooper S instead!!!!

little car lots of heart - 2005 Hyundai Tiburon
By chris hutchins - May 5 - 2:10 amI am 6 4" and fit almost peerfectly into the Tiburon. For the weight and the small six it is extremely spirited. I am extremely surprised by the Tib being as I traded a 2003 Silverado for it, good power, the interior was well thought out and it rides well for a more sport suspension than what I am used to. Over all this car will impress not only on price but quality and performance as well.
