This Year's Model Updates:

There are a handful of packaging changes on the 2007 Ford Crown Victoria. A CD player and keyless entry become standard items on the base model, while an alarm system and daytime running lamps are now optional on all Crown Vics. The LX Sport trim level is discontinued, and its upgraded suspension, 17-inch wheels and dual exhaust system are part of the optional Premium Sport Handling and Performance Package now available on the regular LX. A leather interior is also included in that package. Powertrain warranty coverage increases to five years/60,000 miles.

Pros:
  • Low price, room for six, rear-wheel drive, V8 performance, comfy ride, good crash test scores.
Cons:
  • Old-tech underpinnings result in sloppy handling, dated interior design and materials.

  • My car - 2007 Ford Crown Victoria

We have owned one Ford Crown Vic, then a Mercury Marquis and now another Crown Vic. We find them both to be the same and will always prefer them over other cars. We have looked at many and always come back. The ride and reliability is always great. When travelling we have always found great dealerships to help us out if there is a problem.

  • CVPI - What a Value! - 2007 Ford Crown Victoria

Ive had this 2007 CVPI for about seven months. I wanted one of these because of all the heavy-duty stuff that makes it virtually indestructible. And it is. The ride is stiff (not a problem for me) and the car goes exactly where I tell it to go. Its not a race car, but it is a car that I would trust in situations where a "softer" car would have problems. Seven months, no problems. I happily recommend them to others, and if this one is ever wrecked, Ill look for another one as the replacement.

This car is a waste of my money. Its design both inside and out looked good at the beginning of the year but now looks like it is from 2000. Breaks down often. Please dont dont make the same mistake I did.

  • Im On My Third - 2007 Ford Crown Victoria

This is the third Crown Vic I have owned. I ran the first to 141K and the second to 176K. I have put 14K on this one to date. While the ride on this one is a bit stiff, it is compensated by excellent handling. My wife just says, "Its fun to drive." On a recent road trip of over 850 miles, I held my speed down to 65 and got 30.6 MPG overall, without air. Now, tell me what other vehile gets that fuel efficiency in the comfort provided by the CV? I understand that Ford is discontinuing the CV for consumer use, so I will probably have to go to the Grand Marquis in 8-10 years when this one needs replacement.

  • Excellent car! - 2007 Ford Crown Victoria

The Crown Victoria is a great car. This is the third one that I own and it is just as good as the other two that I had. These cars hardly ever brake down and the only maintenance thats required is regular fluid changes. Crown Victoria is also very comfortable to ride in. It drives as smooth as a boat which it kinda is. The handling has been greatly improved since a few years ago and it has plenty of power.

  • Classic Family Car - 2007 Ford Crown Victoria

I have been very happy with my Crown Victoria. It was hard to find one in my area, but I am very happy with rear wheel drive performance, with a cozy ride. I have yet to find a seating position throughout the car that anyone is not completely comfortable with. Give a Crown Victoria a try!

  • Quality Car - 2007 Ford Crown Victoria

This is my first new Crown Vic after four used ones ranging from a 1984 to a 2000. Its a very comfortable car to drive, handles well and has a lot of room. It has the sport package, with console, buckets and leather upholstery; I did have the dealer replace the 17" original rims with 16" so I could use snow tires on it (a must in upstate New York). I couldnt be more pleased; its incredible that Ford is phasing the car out -- Id trade for another one in the future if I can find a good, low-mileage one with significantly less mileage than Ill have on this one at the time, but I know Crown Vics can go 200000 miles, so Im not in any hurry.

  • Old reliable - 2007 Ford Crown Victoria

There is nothing like the ride of a rear wheel drive car. Nothing exciting in this car but a solid performer and a rare affordable big car.

  • Great Car. - 2007 Ford Crown Victoria

I started out with a Â’95 Crown Vic, which I bought used. In the 8 or 9 years that I owned it, I never had a break-down or any problems mechanically or otherwise. I also average about 5mpg better than the EPA rating. However I had the opportunity to drive a new one, while my car was getting some bodywork done. And well, old reliable is getting an upgrade. These cars are comfortable, have plenty of power, and corners like theyre on rails. There is definitely a reason why all of the police departments depend on them. I could easily drive this for another 10 or more years, but some of the new features, like an available moon roof, and the front bucket seats, have me thinking about upgrading.
