  Ever since i saw this truck at the dealership i fell in love with it. Its got anawesome design, its fast and it handles great in corners. By far a very good purchase

  I have put 10k miles on my 05 DoubleCab Sport TRD. I havent had any problems. No paint chips, leaks, or squeeks. The ride is great, for a truck. The engine is great and really accelerates off the line. The engine has a slight "tick" from the valve-train. Toyota says this is normal, but mine went away once I put on some mileage, replaced the stock oil filter with a Mobil 1 M-102 for better oil flow. I also switched to Amsoil synthetic. The Auto trans seems to get as good or better MPG than the Manual trans. I have gotten as much as 24 MPG. The computer will adjust accordingly to how you drive.

  I have owned every make of truck, and this Tacoma is the best truck by far. I drive a lot of freeway miles, the ride and handling is perfect. I will never own anything else but Toyota.

  After 15 months of driving, I still grin from ear to ear when I climb into it! Gas mileage is great for a truck with this type of power. Wheelbase with 4 doors and the 6ft bed makes it tough to park but Ill live with that minor annoyance. I simply cant say enough about the quality and detail of the Tacomas. It feels like it will last forever. I did a lot of research in this segment before buying and when you educate yourself, youll see that this is the right truck, hands down.

  I purchase this vehicle on April 30, 2005. As of this date (5/15/05) I have driven it 805 miles. I have enjoyed it throughly. This is a really great truck and I didnt think I would like it in the Red but I have to say, I like this truck in red. The access cab is a nice feature, it has plently of storage space. And as others have said this truck is ready to "load and go" from the dealers lot. Purchase one, you will not be disappointed.

  This is the third toyota truck owned. By far this is the best Tacoma. Traded 97 Tacoma standard cab w/127k miles, never a problem. This new tacoma is a hit! Great new size and good power. Very comfortable seats front and rear. Rear seat back is very comfortable even for larger passengers. Like the telescoping tilt wheel. Love the new composite bed. Adjustable bed rail system very convienient. This truck turns heads. After several tanks full, getting 22 mpg hwy, 20 city as displayed on sticker. 245 hp auto tranny great combo, smooth shifting, plenty of power. TRD off road pkg is worth the money. Good comfortable ride for a truck. Toyota quality shows in and out.

  Worth every $$$. Love the sweeet ride! It rides more like a luxury car than a pickup. With this truck you get the best of both worlds - classy and rugged at the same time. Cant stop licking my chops when i first laid eyes on this beauty. Id give up my wife first before giving up on this truck. Thank you TOYOTA !!

  I have owned both the Nissan and Toyota crew cab pickups in 4wd with automatic. I moved from the Nissan to the Toyota for power and left the Toyota for comfort but I have returned and I am not disappointed. The redisgned fixed the ride comfort (ride and seat). The interior looks classy and is very functional. I have put 590 miles so far and got 18.3mpg on my first tank with mixed driving. The more I drive the 2005 Tacoma 4wd the better I like it. Ride, handling, quality and attention to the "little things" make this the best midsize truck on the market - hands down.

  This is my 5th truck and I couldnt be happier with the vehicle. The wider body, fuel economy, and tow capacity make it an excellent compromise to a full size pickup. It offers all of the creature comforts and handles like a car in town. The TRD package with locking differential make it a capable off road vehicle. Performance is surprisingly strong even at altitudes above 10,000 feet.

  I have not owned any truck or SUV other than a new or used Toyota since the mid-1980s. Not once have any one of them broken down or had to be towed. Each time I buy another one, I like it better than the one before. This Tacoma Sport model is by far superior in looks, comfort, pep, and features than any of the others, which were all good too. Access door/space is the reason I bought this model.
