Quality is expected, and this truck delivers. had the truck for a month, and have traveled over 1000 miles. Towed over a ton and a half, and have no complant with the truck or performance. Appearance is eye catching.

This is a fun truck. I dont feel like Im trying to be the "Dad" type of guy. Just a young family man being smart about fuel economy and enjoying the sporty drive. Its all good to me!

By Jordan - April 11 - 2:50 amI purchased this truck last summer and have loved my decision to do so ever since. I have the TRD sport package which gives the truck a mean, and manly look. The truck is loaded with power and will basically do anything you ask of it. Features are great and there are several different styles to suit your personal needs. These trucks are built to last and you just cannot wear these babies out. I previously owned a 2001 Tacoma and the increase in size, durability and power is amazing. Its almost like Toyota created a completely different model and assigned the name Tacoma to it. Again, if youre contemplating buying this truck, debate no longer. This is sure to be the truck for you!

Ive always been a car guy - 2006 Toyota Tacoma
By oldcarguy - April 3 - 5:00 pmIve been a car guy all my life. Never had much interest in a truck. Im convinced that some car guys at Toyota got together and decided to make a truck for car guys. Ive never had as many compliments about any car Ive owned, including a 91 Vette. I like the ride and feel of the truck and the handling is off the charts for a factory truck with a warranty. I average about 22-24 mpg and really enjoy my time behind the wheel. Granted, its not an off road machine, but I dont need it to, either. In a nutshell, I enjoy leaving behind full size V8 trucks that cost thousands more, and even leaving behind V6 Mustangs and Camaros on the mountain roads around my home. Thanks Toyota!

2006 Tacoma 4x4 2.7L - 2006 Toyota Tacoma
By LifeByTheDrop - March 19 - 11:56 pmI drive 50-60K per yr and needed 4x4 truck so went with the Tacoma Access Cab 4cyl 5 sp man. Ive been completely satisfied. After >10K mi Im getting 24.8 mpg on 89 Oct fuel. While I havent been in any serious mud, the 4 wheel drive has moved vehicle well through mud, even with OE tires. Manual trans was a little stiff, but has smoothed out with mi. I dont pull any heavy loads, only 14 fishing boat, and havent had any problem with 4cyl making hwy speeds and hills. Im 63" and there is plenty of room in cab for cooler, brief case, etc. Changing oil and greasing u-joints is easy. Ive installed tool box in bed and hidden hitch. Good luck to us all.

By ETD1010 - March 16 - 9:00 pmThis truck is amazing. I LOVE the body style, and the V6 really packs a punch. The TRD package made it easy to get ALL the features I wanted, and even some I hadnt thought of but LOVE. With all of this backed with Toyotas reputation, this is an awesome little pickup.
