We got one with all the bells and whistles. It is by far one of the best vehicles Ive ever driven. The ride is smooth and quiet. It has tremendous pick up when you need it. Toyota has added features that are usually only found in higher priced luxury vehicles...dual interior ceiling lights, door lights, assist handles above all four doors. Standard tie down on floor of hatchback. Sporty steering wheel.

  • not for snow/cold weather - 2004 Toyota Prius

This car has been built for less weight and hence experiences loss of traction coupled with the long wheel base(room for battery)very hard to turn on snow/ice. The first snow we got(after buying) I hit the curb and bent the rim $380 + to replace. Got stuck 4 times. I only had that happen one other time in 27 years of dirving. Poor fuel economy in cold weather. Gas engine never shuts down, has to run to keep warm. I plan on storing this vehicle next winte

This car was worth the 7 month wait and added price. It is compact but roomy and has plenty of power. I buy gas once a month and drive silently, for the most part. Its a great feeling knowing that I am doing my part for the planet and I have the Toyota name behind me. Of course, I did wait for the 2nd generation.

I traded in a Ford Explorer for my Prius. This was one of the most intelligent, consumer moves Ive ever made in my 49 years. I will buy another one as soon as I pay this one off. I live on a 1/2 mile, rugged, dirt road in Northern California and with a Prius, I realized, I no longer need 4-wheel drive or the high-rise SUV profile. The Prius handles the dirt and snow just fine. We have traveled for four hours with five people in the Prius and we all agreed, comfort was spectacular! The navigation system is an added bonus. I will never buy another car without it. We average 43 mpg around town, but have gotten up to 56 mpg on long trips to Mt. Shast and Lake Tahoe. Excellent car!

Been waiting for a new re-design Hybrid for more than 2 years. Getting this Toyota Prius 2004 is worth all the wait. There is plenty of power that goes a long way with this Eco-Friendly sedan. Especially, a lot more interior space compared to the rest. It fits five comfortable, while the driver still have comfortable space to drive

This is my seventh new Toyota. It is the one that is bringing me the most pleasure to own. As a Hybrid, it is surprisingly peppy, rides like it is on air, comfortable to drive and at 55 MPG makes me feel good. Rated as a PZEV emission vehicle, it has less than 10% of emissions than the other hybrid has. America needs to catch on to a much more fuel efficient vehicle.

  • Im happy with this car - 2004 Toyota Prius

My Prius had been owned by the city of Chattanooga. It had minor damage to the front. I bought it with @12k. on it. I love the car and for me to say that is a real tribute to both the build quality, comfort and economy. I get pretty consistently @44 mpg around town and the highest I have ever gotten is 51. The car would be better served, however, with other radio options. Cant adapt an off the shelf radio because the radio in the car is integral to the function of the display. With gas prices approaching $3.50 this car is wise choice and I am doing something for the environment that I respect.
