  • Cut Corners - 2010 Toyota 4Runner

Doors close very tinny - hood very flimsy at highway speeds - very underpowered with V6 - constant shifting with cruise - transmission whinny at low speed. Does not compare to my 2003. Gas mileage is no better than my 2003 V8. Toyota seriously cut corners on this machine. Not recommended -- mine is for sale.

  • Nice car with minor issues - 2010 Toyota 4Runner

Just picked up my 2010 magnetic Grey, very comfortable drive, great in snow and ice, but after 300 miles, steering wheel began to vibrate and the brakes are acting up bad. Have to bring into dealer after one week of owning.

  • The Bomb - 2010 Toyota 4Runner

Just purchased today and I am very impressed thus far. The black limited I purchased is refined and luxurious, I have yet to learn all of the gadgets. I had to get use to the bubble head lights and taillights but once I got past that I viewed the vehicle as a very refreshing change from the 2003 thru 2009. I owned a 2002 and liked that body style but the 2010 (Limited) is the Bomb!

  • Excellent 4WD Limited 4Runner - 2010 Toyota 4Runner

Build quality appears excellent, on par with Land Cruiser. Excellent ride and comfort with many electronic aides. Navigation and Bluetooth work well as does steering wheel controls. High ride height works well with both short and taller drivers. Overall Mileage around 20 with highway @ 22mpg. AM radio works well with mast antenna. I looked at: BMW, Lexus, and another ML350 but bought 4Runner. The build quality of the 2010 4Runner exceeds my expectation and is better than any previous automobile purchase. 4.0 V6 is all that is needed, it has good torque. Full-time 4WD works perfectly, 20" wheels supply good grip and good ride.

  • Disappointed - 2010 Toyota 4Runner

I had a 2006 Limited that I loved, but I was hit and it was totaled. I purchased the 2010 SR5 last Dec. Im tough on my trucks as I have dogs and do SAR work in Nor Cal. The 2010 immediately started having little problems; vent piece broken, rubber door seals pulling off, radio flickering, etc. Not the quality Ive come to expect. But biggest problem has been the tow hitch wiring receiver. If you plan on towing, good luck! The wiring plug is underneath the vehicle way to the left side. No way is this going to work. Total design flaw. Ive been to dealer and they are telling me theres no fix. Im on my own. NOT GOOD!

  • Basics Of 4Runner 2010 - 2010 Toyota 4Runner

After reading so many reviews (good and bad) let me get you some core basics of this vehicle. It is comfy, power is good, good mpg for the size, and good reliability. If you are looking for a city slicker show off car than better go with a X5. But this is for real heavy duty off roading without the sacrifice of the comfort of city/highway driving. It the best of both worlds.

Love the car so far - I have just under 1,500 miles on it and am averaging around 18-19mpg (keep in mind I have only taken it on the freeway once). Has more power than other in its class. I was nervous about the ride being that its on a truck wheel base, but it actually rides very smooth and is quiet in the cabin.

  • Awesome SUV - 2010 Toyota 4Runner
    By -

Picked up my 4runner last week and absolutely love it. I owned a 99 4runner and always regretted getting rid of it. Ive owned many SUVs but nothing has compared to the 4runner. If you are tired of all the new "crossovers" (reworked minivans) and want a true SUV then the 4runner is for you. The new exterior is classic and the interior is highly functional and looks great in leather.

  • Love This Tuck - 2010 Toyota 4Runner

I just bought my 4Runner SR5 4x4 6cyl on Saturday at DCH Brunswick Toyota in N. Brunswick NJ. The dealership was great and gave us a good deal. I absolutely love the truck, its such a smooth ride for an SUV. Ive had a 2003 and 2006 Jeep Grand Cherokee and this truck is 10x better. I will be back in another 3 years for another!

  • 4Runner...Always solid...always dependable - 2010 Toyota 4Runner
    By -

Great value, rugged, solidly built and low maintenance costs. Solid towing platform. Only issue has been the front transfer case electronics which required replacement (a $1.500 repair) at 115K miles. Resale has consistently been high.
