  • Best yet - 2010 Toyota 4Runner
    By -

I have owned over the past twenty years, five 4 runners all generations up to this one including the original P/U cap model. This one beats them all. The engine is more than adequate for my needs. The design is aggressive looking especially in black with the 20 inch wheels. The interior is laid out well. Road visibility is great due to the vehicles height and the ride while truck like is firm and not sloppy. Love the Nav system and the remote start.

  • SR5 with third row seating - 2010 Toyota 4Runner
    By -

So far the only issue is a little steering wheel wobble at 60 MPH. Possible wheel alignment issue. Everything else about the SR5 is fantastic. Love the fact that rear window rolls down and all other windows including the ones in back seat go all the way down. Great in snow and seat comfort is great. The little moon light that illuminates the front gearshift area is a great feature.Reclining rear seats and satellite radio, as well as blue tooth phone are some of my favorite features. In metallic gray the chrome really stands out. Third seat is preferred over the goofy roll out tray. Who ever came up with that feature should be shot. Overall very pleased with the purchase!

  • I HATE MY 2010 TOYOTA 4RUNNER - 2010 Toyota 4Runner
    By -

I owned a 1997 Toyota 4runner for 13 years with only one major repair in $160,000 miles. It never once stranded me. Someone hit me and totaled it. I bought a new 2010 Toyota 4runner. In the last six months it has stranded me twice and I have had 4 major repairs. The throttle body was first, then the brake switch. Next was the blue tooth system and last night the entire windshield cracked in half (stress fracture, not a rock). I just cant trust this car. It is a lemon and Toyota doesnt care. It is also very hard to see out of the back windows. The body is wider than it needs to be. My mileage is 20 mpg, which is fine. Comfort is good for sitting on the side of the road waiting.

  • Incredible SUV - 2010 Toyota 4Runner
    By -

I looked around at suv’s and cars for the last several months, and I just purchased a 2010 Toyota 4Runner Limited and the truck is absolutely outstanding! The new body style has a modern look yet strong and masculine, a definite guys truck. The interior is superbly done, with has everything a discerning buying could possibly want. This truck was entirely built in Japan, and the fit and finish is precise and meticulous. The ride is smooth with plenty of engine power. I am overwhelming pleased with my purchase.

  • Awesome - 2010 Toyota 4Runner
    By -

Had a 2003 4Runner Limited V8 that I totaled in June 10. Wasnt really interested in another 4Runner at first. 4th Gen was too cramped on the interior, always felt too narrow in the drivers seat, but it was admittedly a GREAT truck. Had my mind changed because: 1) NO injuries in the wreck to me or my daughter; and 2) It was 7 years old with 115k miles, and I got 60% of my original purchase price from insurance when it was totaled. New 4Runner, here I come! The Trail is AWESOME. Feels bigger in the interior. Styling is much more masculine than the 4th Gen. Figured out how to turn off economy mode, and throttle response/shift pattern is MUCH better.

  • Child of 83 Landcruiser and 05 ScionTC - 2010 Toyota 4Runner
    By -

I have driven my 2010 4Runner 1100 miles and I am very happy. I have finally given up driving my 83 Landcruiser and this is the perfect replacement. It is almost identical to the 83 FJ60 in interior room and design. I feel like Toyota has reached back in time and found the perfect replacement for the old Landcruiser. The previous 4Runner appeared too wimpy (styling) and the FJ did not offer the visibility associated with the original Landcruisers. Im happy the truck does not have mud collectors (running boards). I am also retiring my Scion TC and I have become a one car household. The 4Runner is a pig compared to the scion but, that is to be expected. Overall, very happy.

  • Love My 4Runner - 2010 Toyota 4Runner

Love my new 2010 4Runner, it drives like a champ. We test drove several SUVs but none came close to the 4Runner. Cant wait to take our first Road Trip.

  • 3rd 4Runner - 2010 Toyota 4Runner

This is my third 4Runner, sixth Toyota. Never a problem with the 4Runner that required a return to the dealer. I will buy another 4Runner after this one.

  • Love it with one exception... - 2010 Toyota 4Runner
    By -

I like the vehicle on every level (body design, fuel efficiency, performance, etc..) with one exception. Every single time I am at a traffic light and the A/C is on, the vehicle shakes slightly. Even the very first time I took it out! I paid $41k for it and am disappointed and alarmed by this. However, I must comment that my husband absolutely loves our 4Runner.

  • Bastard child - 2010 Toyota 4Runner

Do you know what you get when you cross the FJ Cruiser and the 4th generation 4Runner? The 5th generation 4Runner. I affectionately call it the "bastard child" regarding its new look. A combination of each. I understand Toyota is discontinuing the FJ and I believe they intentionally designed the new 4Runner to reflect both looks to appeal to both buyers. I just traded my 2004 Sport V8 AWD for this new guy and yes it has a few shortcomings in comparison but I hope I love it in the long run as I have my 04.
