i miss mine two - 2000 Nissan Xterra
By chonseydsa - April 13 - 3:06 pmI loved my 2000 Nissan xterra in silver it had about 190,000 miles on it when I recently totaled it in a accident on Thursday. I also had the problem of the airbags not going off but overall it was a great truck Im hoping to get another one with my insurance money and buy one with lower mileage. It was tons of fun I miss mine so much.

out and about where you cant find me!! - 2000 Nissan Xterra
By The Chadd - April 1 - 10:00 amI am or better yet "WAS" a die hard 4- runner fan. Now after the luxury craze took over our beloved suvs I had to look else where to replace my 1993 4- runner with the same ruggedness that an suv should have. The Xterra fit the mold perfectly. The Xterra has been everything my older 4-runner was and more.

Real SUV for Real Men - 2000 Nissan Xterra
By UpstateNY - January 29 - 10:00 amI was caught in the Christmas 2002 blizzard on the NY Thruway. Drove 90 miles between Albany and Utica in 4WD and passed hundreds of stuck cars. A lot of them were those Honda CRV type of fake 4WD SUVs. My Xterra got me there without a problem. I even plowed my mothers driveway using my front bumper!

its a 4 speed automatic wasnt in selection but its great - 2000 Nissan Xterra
By kms1990 - September 14 - 4:37 ami love my xterra she has a bumpy ride but its a truck frame so it is designed to be tough not smooth it runs like a beast but as with most v6 suvs it feels underpowered on acceleration up hills on freeway onramps but if you give it a good amount of gas pedal push it will downshift and get up there it looks great to me definitely distinctive the interior is a little bland but well built and comfy seats sit low in front so it feels like sittin in a sporty car thats lifted 10" because you can see above most things blind spots are minimal which is good it has alot of storage space and is well built and fun to drive especially off road where it loves to be great suv i would buy again

What SUVs were meant to be - 2000 Nissan Xterra
By XterraOwner - August 23 - 10:00 amThe Xterra has been an excellent truck. I expected a reliable, well-built vehicle, and thats what I got. It is great both on and off road; especially great in the snow. Needs a little more top end on the manual transmission, but great low-end power. I highly recommend this truck for anyone looking for a reasonably priced, well- performing SUV.

Excellent car!! - 2000 Nissan Xterra
By rita1971 - August 14 - 2:19 amI purchased this car ten years ago, it now has 354,000 miles on it. Have only replaced transmission once, never had engine problems and now just needs a power steering line. Its very reliable and great for your money. I highly recommend this vehicle for anyone that uses highway miles a lot and desires to put lots of mileage on a car. I have been driving mines forever and I love the car....Its has exceeded its expectations at 354,000 miles...Unbelievable!!! Im passing it down to my son now.

By afda - April 14 - 2:43 amthe car has been reliable. Everything works. No troubles for years. But its kind of noisy, and sluggish. The gas milage is really poor.

Still going strong at 115k - 2000 Nissan Xterra
By Great SUV - March 19 - 1:46 amThis SUVs great. Not anything like JD Powers review. Practical, fun, low maintenance. Just do the maintenance and everything works fine. Still a very tight sounding vehicle 5 years and 100k+ miles later. Not too many vehicles can pull that off.
