  • Nice SUV but Nissan cannot support the vehicle - 2013 Nissan Pathfinder
    By -

Bought the Pathfinder when it first came out unfortunately 4 days later I took out a 7 point buck. We hardly felt a thing in the Pathfinder but there was a lot of front end damage. Upon taking it to the dealer I was advised that they have to wait at least a month before the needed parts may be available. This was unacceptable that a company would put out a product that they could not support, I am in the process of having Nissan buy the Pathfinder back due to inability to support a product.

  • Transmission issue - 2013 Nissan Pathfinder
    By -

I noticed that every time i step on the gas from stop the car feels like auto transmission shifting/jerking and the RPMs drop suddenly from about 3500 to 2500. The dealer is saying that its normal but I dont trust them. Does someone else experience the same jerking problem? Also its a shame that the car doesnt have Blind spot monitor. All competitors have it.

  • One of the Best SUV I had - 2013 Nissan Pathfinder
    By -

We just got 2013 Pathfinder SL with Premium Package and we love it. It drives like car and room inside is great. We test dove the JX, MDX, Highlander and Pilot at the end we went with Nissan I dont regreted one bit. SUV is comfy and fuel economy is best. We keep it on 2WD all the time and we are getting combine 22.5 miles per gallon. If you drive on AUTO mode gas miles is around 21 combine so we keep it on 2WD unless we needed. We had 2010 Pilot leased for 3 years Pathfinder drives better and more rommer inside. Also it is much easy to get to the 3rd row

  • Enjoying first SUV - 2013 Nissan Pathfinder
    By -

So far I am enjoying my first SUV. Very good ride, interior and space for my needs. Its actually a little more space than I really need. Everything is easily accessible. The gas mileage is very good. Ive had it three months and no problems to date. I bought the SL Premium edition. I read a few complaints here. Unfortunately, every vehicle will have some glitches -- no matter what the make. Theres no perfect car. Ive owned Hondas, Pontiacs, Chryslers, Mitsubishis and Nissans and there wasnt a perfect one in the bunch.

  • Nissan Fan Turned Sour on Quality - 2013 Nissan Pathfinder
    By -

"I was a big fan of the Nissan product having owned a 2010 maxima, I was very disappointed in the quality of the 2013 Pathfinder. Within the first month I have had front headlight burn out, leaking windows, Parking sensor warning lights and more importantly transmission issues with the newly designed CVT, producing rumbling noises and providing sluggish performance/delays at low to mid city driving speeds. Dealer will not take the SUV back as they claim that it would be considered a defective product and could not sell it. Kind of funny as Nissan had no issue selling me a defective product in the first place. I STRONGLY RECOMMEND NOT PURCHASING THIS VEHICLE...AT LEAST 2013 YEAR!

  • Dont buy! - 2013 Nissan Pathfinder

My husband and I bought a 2013 Pathfinder 3 weeks ago and our vehicle has been in the shop twice! First time Feb. 6th due to our vehicle jerking back and forth while we were driving with our kids in the vehicle. At first Nissan said they couldnt figure out whats wrong then they said it was a sensor and it was fixed. My kids and I have been sick so we didnt drive the car again until Feb. 10th in which the vehicle again was jerking back and forth and now making a very loud knocking sound. Took the vehicle again to Nissan today (Feb. 11th) and it has been there since 9:30 a.m. just to be told "we dont see anything wrong with it" 6 hours later ..... Never again will I buy NISSAN!

  • Build quality issue - 2013 Nissan Pathfinder
    By -

We bought the new 2013 Nissan Pathfinder (SL version 45K) in January/13. By now, the SUV broke down 4 times: transmission hose fell off (the car had to be towed), overdrive did not work from the beginning, front lights burnt out, trunk door rubbed paint off the car due to bad alignment. All of these are manufacturing defects. We highly recommend this vehicle if you like to drive dirty service cars or unsuccessfully deal with Nissan Customer Service. Nissan is very proud of their design and manufacturing and believe that there is nothing wrong with the vehicle. Bravo Nissan Canada!

  • Worse Nissan Ever!!!! - 2013 Nissan Pathfinder

I owned so many Nissan cars, trucks and suvs but I was so disappointed with 2013 Pathfinder. I bought my 2013 Pathfinder SV at first I was enjoying it but after I hit more than 1,000 miles it started shuddering and losing power. All the moulding under the door became loose and when Im driving on the freeway it was vibrating so hard that the sound inside the cabin is so annoying. I brought it back to the dealer for them to fix the shuddering and losing power but the mechanic said "theres nothing wrong with. After three months of driving it I finally trade it in for the Titan which I should have bought in the first place.....

  • Just bought 2013 Pathfinder - 2013 Nissan Pathfinder

I have been reading the latest reviews on the 2013 Pathfinder and find them a bit disappointing. I bought mine yesterday and have 25 miles on it. I hope and pray I DO NOT have transmissions problems! I have been through transmission issues with a 2002 Ford Explorer and they were never rectified. I fell in love with this car after driving the Infiniti JX. I have the fully loaded Platinum. We read the reviews prior to buying and were so worried that the dealer included the 7yrs, 100,000 miles coverage on the engine and transmission. I hope the issues are in the minority and do not show up with me. If they do I hope Nissan can rectify the problem and take care of their customers.

We bought our 13 Pathfinder SL 4WD in August of 2013. Within two months we started to feel the CVT Transmission shuddering under light throttle applications. We had the car in the shop four times for this issue, but they could never replicate the problem. After the shuddering started to become progressively worse and became a safety concern, we finally asked the dealer to buy the car back for the balance of our loan. Happily, they agreed, and we were given $6000 more than the Kelly Blue Book trade value. Other than the transmission issue, the car was very nice. It rode great and got very good MPG for a mid-sized CUV ....
