  • Concerns on door weatherstrips - 2013 Nissan Pathfinder
    By -

I need to start by saying that I love the vehicle. Got it in December, platinum edition, red with black interior. I owned several Muranos before this and the pathfinder is better than the Murano in most areas. The one thing that confuses me is why Nissan did not recess the doors at the bottom or at least provide a threshold plate under the bottom of the doors. The outer weatherstrip seal on the bottom of the doors is huge and fitts loosely. This allows road salt and water to polute the door jambs. I hope Nissan can improve these seals.

I just bought a new Platinum. I am optimistic, but have a lightbulb out after only a week. This is my fourth Pathfinder dating back to the ones with the triangle windows. My last was a 2005 and I had alot of problems with it. It was the first one I had that was made in the US...the others went 250k. The 05 only made it to 100k before the engine and tranny failed. Also electrical problems. This one is quiet and it it gets better mileage. I like the ride and toys. It doesnt feel like a truck as the others did, but will still tow more than I need. Will see what the miles bring. Only at a thousand, and like it more than the old models. Reliability? Well see and Ill update my review over time.

  • my first nissan suv - 2013 Nissan Pathfinder

I bought platinum premium pkg one week ago I was going to buy infiniti JX but I compere both of this car and has same feature and lot cheaper then infiniti JX and I save almost $6000 dollar I love the car. I bought this car at 640nissan Knoxville tn which provides 100K miles powertrain Warranty. Salesman were so trained and well-mannered not like other dealers who just want to push you even u don?t even like, chris miller was my salesman one of the best and educated regarding the car. I would definitely recommend this vehicle to anybody who is looking for a SUV better then Toyota Highlander.

  • Traded 08 Subaru Outback for a 13 Pathfinder - 2013 Nissan Pathfinder
    By -

Traded up to a Pathfinder SL Premium for more size and more power over the 08 Outback. Love the power and dont feel the speed with the quiet ride & lack of shifting gears. I really needed the extra space in the rear more than third row seating, but its handy when the office goes out for lunch or on a site visit. The extra shoulder & hip room is appreciated! I got the arctic blue metallic - a darker medium blue - with black interior. Im driving in the mountains on open, winding country roads, getting 20-21 mpg. Got the car for $300 under Invoice plus Kelley Blue Book value on our trade.

  • Switched from Titan LE Truck to Pathfinder Platinum - 2013 Nissan Pathfinder
    By -

Absolutely Love this vehicle. Bought 3 weeks ago, I average 25K miles a year, and so far it is wonderful with no problems. Does not have the power of my previous Titan V8, but for a V6 with a CVT Transmission, it does great for my needs. Researched Ford Explorer Limited and Pathfinder, mulled over all the blogs, comments and bottom line for me, the Price for the vehicle & all the Premium Platinum features verses the Ford Explorer Limited, along with the "trade Value" three years from now, Nissan won this buyer over again. Especially love the remote start and heated/cooled seats. So Far So Good!! 360 camera view also a neat feature!!

  • A little trouble expected - 2013 Nissan Pathfinder
    By -

With 2 kids now and carpooling I needed something with a third row. I love it because its not totally huge but the inside (even the third row) is very roomy. I especially like the second row folds forward even with car seat in it. We got the car in Dec of 2012. We got one of the first ones in our state and When we got there they were still cleaning it up and saw them taking stickers off some of the interior that said Infiniti on them. Yes this platinum addition has the interior of a luxury car/SUV . Now on performance. The car drives great!!!! I have had the car a year and a half and have over 10000. I have had zero issues except for the recall on airbag and brakes.

  • Pathfinder = WINNER! - 2013 Nissan Pathfinder
    By -

This is my 4th Nissan vehicle since 2003 and my first purchase. The previous three vehicles were leases and I enjoyed them all. I picked the 13 PF PL over the competitors for many reasons including: Nissan reliability, Nissans CVT is the best among the others out there, brand loyalty, standard features, ride quality, cargo space and technology. I have just over 1200 miles so the vehicle is over the break-in period. I am averaging 23.6 MPG with a 66 mile round-trip daily commute consisting of 90% highway and 10% city. I have not experienced one issue and thoroughly enjoy my new 13 PF. Build date is April 2013.

  • Great vehicle - 2013 Nissan Pathfinder

We purchased a platinum premium about a week ago...After going with the intentions of buying the Infiniti JX we decided to drive the Pathfinder and actually like the drive and ride of it better. On top of that it saved us $10,000 compared to the JX, now we realize there are some options you cant get on the Pathfinder that the JX has but we could not justify the $10k difference...also its avg 22 mpg around town on the first tank!!!

  • Finally a Pathfinder thats rides like an Acura and Benz - 2013 Nissan Pathfinder
    By -

Why is 2013 Nissan Pathfinder a solid choice in my opinion vs. some of its peers. For starters Nissan finally moved away from an off road SUV (truck on frame) to one that mainstream families like myself will want and use. How many families do you know that go rock crawling or off roading vs. those who need space, comfort, handling like an Acura or Mercedes with virtually no tire and road noise? How many V6s can offer 19-26 MPGs when fully loaded with the AC blasting? For those who do not like or complain about the CVT transmission need to learn more about it. This is not new. All snow mobiles, wave runners, boats and heavy equipment use this type of transmission and its a solid choice.

  • Good car but Nissan cheaps out on cross bars and CD player - 2013 Nissan Pathfinder
    By -

After nearly 700 miles in 10 days, Im getting 24 mpg combined mileage and 27.5 on the highway, a little better than promised by Nissan. Pathfinder is comfortable after trading in a Ray-4 with 98,000 miles on it.
