Overview & Reviews
A favorite in the midsize luxury car class, the Mercedes-Benz E-Class has provided an appealing mix of comfort, performance and safety for decades. The trademark qualities of Mercedes-Benz vehicles, such as vaultlike solidity and cutting-edge technology, have also contributed to the E-Class' great popularity among luxury buyers.
Over the years, the E-Class has been offered as a sedan, wagon, coupe and convertible. Contemporary E-Class models come loaded with luxury features and offer stunning acceleration in higher trim levels, with diesel power available if you want to maximize your fuel economy. The E-Class has never been the sportiest car in its segment, but its handling has improved significantly in recent years. Rivals are better in certain respects, but if you're looking for the complete package in a medium-size luxury car, an E-Class will be hard to beat.

Great Car, Great Price - 1995 Mercedes-Benz E-Class
By K.L. Nadzak - June 4 - 7:16 pmHey, I "acquired" this fine vehicle back in 1995 and it has been a wonder. Ive driven it everywhere and have had no mechanical issues. Example: I had to mysteriously travel from Florida to NY numerous times, stopping only for gas and the occasional White Castle. I put 9K on the car during one such trip, and she was running like new when I got back. Talk about reliability! I wish other things in my life were this reliable. My wife, girlfriend, son, and mother could all stand to learn something from this car. Hey, unlike my son, this car is a winner. If you have to evade people and institutions via long-term, interstate travel, you cant go wrong with the 95 E-Class

Who needs Hybrids - 2006 Mercedes-Benz E-Class
By TD Austin - June 3 - 2:40 pmI have had this car for one month and 1300 miles - what a car. I am getting 33 MPG communting to work, great acceleration, great passing down kick at 60 MPH, and I can chirp the tires at a light - what more can you ask for. I traded my GS300 for this car and could not be happier. This car is not your fathers diesel

Trading Up - 1995 Mercedes-Benz E-Class
By observer1992 - June 2 - 1:40 amI recently bought a 1995 E320, I was just looking around because my 1995 Saturn SL1 was starting to have some reliability issues and had just reached 210,000 miles. I was looking at Ford Focus, but the Mercedes E320 caught my eye and after the first minute of the test drive I knew I had found a solid car. My E320 has 155,000 miles on it and I had a mechanic check it out and it was given a clean bill of health. I would recommend one of these cars to anyone who is willing to give a 16 year old car a try.

Multiple repairs on my E320 - 1999 Mercedes-Benz E-Class
By Tim - May 31 - 4:20 amOwnership experience has cost thousands more than the purchase price. I would not buy this car or another Mercedes Benz if I could have a do over. AC has been replaced twice. Control modules have been replaced. Sun roof had a terrible leak with multiple repair attempts. The sun roof would open on its own. The windows would go down on their own. The car alarm would even go off in my enclosed garage.

E 320 2000 with past problems - 2000 Mercedes-Benz E-Class
By mstg09 - May 26 - 2:00 amMy E320 is a pleasure to drive while being very comfortable; it accelerates like a sporty car but has surprising fuel economy. The suspension is a bit on the hard side but that doesnt matter on good roads. I had some reliability issues in the first 2 years of possession, specialy with the A/C systme but since then, no big problem.

MY NEW MERCEDES - 2004 Mercedes-Benz E-Class
By suznred - May 26 - 2:00 amI am very happy with my new E-320 4matic sedan. I love the premium features that I added to the car, but it would have been nice if more of these features were included in the base price. Adding the many extra options definitely increases the purchase price. However, considering the safety of this vehicle and the overall quality and my initial driving experience, I would highly rate this vehicle.

I loved my Mercedes E350, but my E300 is unsafe - 2017 Mercedes-Benz E-Class
By Gerald Waldbaum - May 25 - 2:20 amThe navigation on my E300 is so full of bugs that its risky to use it. For example, when I take a route that the car did not intend, it has trouble adjusting. After I changed my route yesterday, it told me to make a right turn (and then discovering that a right turn was not possible, told me a few seconds later to make a left turn. I strongly recommend that Mercedes fix the navigation in all 2017 E300s before someone gets killed using their navigation. Mercedes should also encourage E300 customers who have iPhones to use Apple Car Play for navigation.

High Flying Rocket Ship - 2007 Mercedes-Benz E-Class
By myE63rocket - May 24 - 12:13 pmI was in the market for a sporty sedan and I had mixed emotions about the M5 vs. E63 and I am positive I made the right decision on picking the E63. The overall performance of the newly redesigned AMG motor really presses you up against your seat. When have 507hp under the hood with 465ft-lbs of torque trusting you past the guy next to you its fun to see their face when they catch up at the next red light.

Best mid-size sedan - 2010 Mercedes-Benz E-Class
By Cowhorn forcep - May 22 - 10:23 amE-Class beats its competitors handily. BMW 5-series lacks adjustable seat belts and had average crash test ratings. Lexus GS not special enough and way too bland design. Acura has polarizing design. Love the MB for new interior and exterior elements. Very solid, majestic, classy ride with many amenities. Love the stares it gets as we drive around town.
