A favorite in the midsize luxury car class, the Mercedes-Benz E-Class has provided an appealing mix of comfort, performance and safety for decades. Over the years, the E-Class has been offered as a sedan, wagon, coupe and convertible. The E-Class has never been the sportiest car in its segment, but its handling has improved significantly in recent years. Rivals are better in certain respects, but if you're looking for the complete package in a medium-size luxury car, an E-Class will be hard to beat.

  I bought the car new in March, 2003. It is fun to drive and gets excellent fuel economy. I have never got less than 20 MPG. The car "turns eyes" wherever we go. In late June - early July we took cross country road trip. The ride was extremely comfortable for both me and my two passengers. Mileage averaged about 25 MPG for the trip (over 8,500 miles total). Extremely quiet and comfortable even at high speeds. Only one problem - that was with the audio system going out. They just got a "fix" - so should not be a problem in the future. I have been very satisfied with every aspect of owning and driving the vehicle.

  Hard to trade in this elegant workhorse - 2000 Mercedes-Benz E-Class

  I live in Minnesota, so bought the car new with the 4matic feature. I love the way it looks inside and out and it has been mechanically very very reliable. I only have 50000 miles on it now in 2008 and it is starting to show its age a bit. The most serious things that have broken are both rear window power lifts, but the repair costs were not outrageous. Adequately powered by todays standards (barely), still I cant bear to part with it. And it looks better than the new ones.

  Very nice car inside and out. Very reliable. Only regular service needed and few minor services that are required when time comes like seals and stuff. Other than that its a very good car so far

  Super Car! - 2005 Mercedes-Benz E-Class

  Solid, smooth, handles well and is a wonderful alternatve to a bulky, poor-handling SUV! This wagon drives like a sedan, is comfortable like a sedan, yet has tons of storage space. My only complaint is the usual problem with the stupid headrest that travels upward, whether you move the seat back or forward. Mercedes needs to fire the engineer who designed this bizarre feature into the car! Other than this, the best car (wagons) on the road. Had an Audi Allroad and this is FAR superior in all respects!

  Not for the faint of heart - 2003 Mercedes-Benz E-Class

  By far the best vehicle Ive ever owned. I traded in a 1999 E430 for this car, and she was certainly worth it. The acceleration of this velicle is unbelievable. My wife hates to ride with me, especially if were merging unto the interstate (prime opportunity to to show off). I would only recommend this car to those whom a doctor has certified as healthy.

  Lovin it!! - 2001 Mercedes-Benz E-Class

  Its 01/2010, my car has 83,000 miles on it and it performs / rides like new. Drove from Houston to Florida straight through at 80-100 mph and still got 25.5 mpg average for the trip...hard to beat! Repairs can get costly, but the performance is worth it! (Get a warranty if you can) Id recommend this car to any car enthusiast!

  Beware Mercedes doesnt have parts for this car - 2014 Mercedes-Benz E-Class

  I purchased my brand new 2014 e350 in May 2013. Unfortunately someone rear ended it two weeks later. It has been over 2 months and Mercedes is unable to replace the rear bumper on my car. They cannot give me an answer to when they will have the part. I did not expect this from Mercedes. Beware people before you buy Mercedes. Are they going bankrupt?
