Overview & Reviews
A favorite in the midsize luxury car class, the Mercedes-Benz E-Class has provided an appealing mix of comfort, performance and safety for decades. The trademark qualities of Mercedes-Benz vehicles, such as vaultlike solidity and cutting-edge technology, have also contributed to the E-Class' great popularity among luxury buyers.
Over the years, the E-Class has been offered as a sedan, wagon, coupe and convertible. Contemporary E-Class models come loaded with luxury features and offer stunning acceleration in higher trim levels, with diesel power available if you want to maximize your fuel economy. The E-Class has never been the sportiest car in its segment, but its handling has improved significantly in recent years. Rivals are better in certain respects, but if you're looking for the complete package in a medium-size luxury car, an E-Class will be hard to beat.

1998 MB - 1998 Mercedes-Benz E-Class
By damngoodlookin - October 7 - 8:40 amIve had this car for a year now. I have regular service at a independent mechanic. I have had basically almost no problems with it at all except a leak in an after-market chrome wheel, which was fixed for $29. Although there are a number of newer MB in my work parking lot, the valets like to park mine right in front, maybe because the 98 E is the size of the newer S series and the styling is so great. I am more than pleased with it.

Mercedes-Benz E Class - 2003 Mercedes-Benz E-Class
By rcruzdir - September 26 - 10:00 amI received my vehicle as Fathers day gift. I have alway wanted a Mercedes- Benz however I had to wait in line for my wife and two children cars. I drove a Ford Mustang, Nissan Truck and a Volvo before my Mercedes-Benz E Class. The only other car I would buy is a Mercedes-Benz S class

Even better than I had hoped - 2005 Mercedes-Benz E-Class
By Steve S. - September 24 - 10:36 amWe have owned a turbodiesel in the past, so we thought we knew what we were getting. We were prepared to accept the trade off of "diesel" acceleration, noise and smell for the higher mileage, durability and understated luxury looks. Even after thoroughly test driving a number of differently equipped versions, and streching for the only totally loaded vehicle we could find, we feel like weve gotten the bargain of the century. This car is quick, powerful and easy to drive. Best of all, everyone does a double-take when they find out it runs on diesel. At first the controls were difficult, but after a short learning curve they have become second nature. We are extremely pleased.

Buy One - 2006 Mercedes-Benz E-Class
By Wonk - September 21 - 4:16 amBeutifull styling, lots of torque so this car is fast - and Im getting 34 MPG. Excellent handling on narrow rual roads that we drive in TN; love the electronic manual shifting. Most dealers order without many options, but many features (i.e. navigation) can be added by the dealer.

The best car - 1998 Mercedes-Benz E-Class
By sergey - September 19 - 3:26 amThis car is the best car that I ever had. I would not change it to any other car except a newer one but the same model. When you drive this you enjoy it. You do not want to stop driving it!

Bad buy - 2002 Mercedes-Benz E-Class
By Nomore - September 18 - 10:00 amI bought the first edition E430 4 yrs ago. I have nothing but trouble. It seem like I have to take the car in for repair almost every month. Every single light bulbs in the car has been change at least once. Fan belt broke on my way to airport. I wish I bought a Luxus. I will never buy another Mercedes again.
