Overview & Reviews
A favorite in the midsize luxury car class, the Mercedes-Benz E-Class has provided an appealing mix of comfort, performance and safety for decades. The trademark qualities of Mercedes-Benz vehicles, such as vaultlike solidity and cutting-edge technology, have also contributed to the E-Class' great popularity among luxury buyers.
Over the years, the E-Class has been offered as a sedan, wagon, coupe and convertible. Contemporary E-Class models come loaded with luxury features and offer stunning acceleration in higher trim levels, with diesel power available if you want to maximize your fuel economy. The E-Class has never been the sportiest car in its segment, but its handling has improved significantly in recent years. Rivals are better in certain respects, but if you're looking for the complete package in a medium-size luxury car, an E-Class will be hard to beat.

Fun to drive - 2006 Mercedes-Benz E-Class
By Phil Fox - December 13 - 2:06 amWe took European delivery of our E350. We drove 2100 miles without a hitch. Best car I ever purchased. Car drives like a dream at 100mph plus, yet can be driven gently around town and will please you equally. Ergonomic controls are great. Dynamic seats are worth every penny! With 268 hp engine up from last year, why buy the E500?

Great Driving E43 - 2017 Mercedes-Benz E-Class
By E43 Owner - December 12 - 6:46 pmOur family already has 2 BMWs, so I came into this purchase with a bias. We bought an E43 Premium 3 after looking at other sport sedans in this price range (BMW 540, Audi S/A 6/7, Maserati Ghibli, Lexus GS were main options we considered). Even though some were slightly faster and more sporty looking, overall we chose the interior/exterior styling and capability combination of the E43. Weve had it for a month now, and so far so good... and so FUN! Even though we liked the e300 when it came out, I couldnt come to grips with the 4 cylinder - so the E43 offers a sporty-driving alternative to the e300 without the race capability (and 6-figure price) of the E63. The power is great, the options are awesome - and once you get used to using voice commands (we find them quickest vs. COMMAND system menus for some functions) its easy to master. Love Sport+ mode for fun and the option to go full-manual shift. Challenges so far: As some other reviewers, we have not been immune to software issues. Weve had strangely intermittent navigation and HD radio issues, with the dealer still waiting on the latest patch for one of the issues. Software issues alone keep me from rating 5 across the board. OVERALL: After one month and 1500 miles, we would definitely do it again!

Mercedes Benz: Number One - 2003 Mercedes-Benz E-Class
By steveen - December 2 - 2:00 amThe Mercedes Benz E320, is by far one of the most fun, and one of the most neatest cars on the market. The exterior is beautiful, but I think tht the interior is what makes this car extra special. So clean and crisp!!!

My favorite Mercedes - 2005 Mercedes-Benz E-Class
By Cathy Weil - November 27 - 4:06 pmThis is my third Mercedes purchase, first was the C230, second the S320, and now this model. While I enjoyed ownership of all previous Mercedes models, this sedan suits me the best. It is a perfect size and style. It is comfortable, yet fun to drive. The sound system provides great listening for my opera or rock CDs.

Improvement over the 2008 E350 - 2009 Mercedes-Benz E-Class
By HiHoMike - November 21 - 6:33 pmI traded my 08 E350 Sport for a 2009 E350 sport mainly to upgrade to the new, faster electronics and music. I found no major driving differences, however the HD radio, the NAV system, the Voice Command and the increased response speed for all technology functions is amazing. There is almost nothing you cant do with the voice command system. It even has a training module to improve the voice commands understanding of your input language. Smooth ride and handling are accomplished with the sport suspension. Since I had no problems with my 08, the 09 is just icing on the cake.

My 2014 E350 Sedan Sport not a quality machine - 2014 Mercedes-Benz E-Class
By ericl33 - November 20 - 5:31 pmCar in shop too many times for too many issues in first month of ownership. Long time loyalty to brand to the tune of 1 new MB a year for several years. Asked them to buy car back before the issues grow. Two systems they still cannot fix - 360 camera and Sirius radio. They told me they are happy to honor the warranty but will not take car back. So much for loyalty. MBUSA customer service is under trained and incapable of client retention. 3000 miles on car in shop two times for two weeks with the service area working on items and not able to fully repair. MBUSA aware of factory 360 camera issue, Sirius - no clue. 30% chance that something will not work when driven.

Excellent Vehicle - 2000 Mercedes-Benz E-Class
By Ralph W. Cutter - November 19 - 9:00 amQuality, all the way around. No complaints. However, I do have a problem with the CD changer in the trunk. The radio shows there is no CD in the changer when there is. Cant get it to work. Mercedes says it will be hefty charge to fix! Other than that the car is unbeatable. I have only had oil changes and routine mait. done in 6 years. Mercedes knows how to build a quality automobile without question. This is my 4th Mercedes and without question not my last!

The Greatest Car I Have Ever Owned - 2007 Mercedes-Benz E-Class
By Damian Zuri - November 13 - 9:00 amI cant say enough about this car. The fit and finish are 2nd to none. I love the Burl Walnut wood. The manager explained the high strength low alloy steel that Mercedes is famous for. This gives the car a secure heavy feel for the road and is rated extremely high in crash tests. I drove the V-6 and was impressed with th 268 horsepower but fell in love with the V-8...wow! Air conditioned/heated seats are a nice addition to the soft leather. This car was leased and I must say there is a good chance Ill buy this car when the lease is over.
