Overview & Reviews
A favorite in the midsize luxury car class, the Mercedes-Benz E-Class has provided an appealing mix of comfort, performance and safety for decades. The trademark qualities of Mercedes-Benz vehicles, such as vaultlike solidity and cutting-edge technology, have also contributed to the E-Class' great popularity among luxury buyers.
Over the years, the E-Class has been offered as a sedan, wagon, coupe and convertible. Contemporary E-Class models come loaded with luxury features and offer stunning acceleration in higher trim levels, with diesel power available if you want to maximize your fuel economy. The E-Class has never been the sportiest car in its segment, but its handling has improved significantly in recent years. Rivals are better in certain respects, but if you're looking for the complete package in a medium-size luxury car, an E-Class will be hard to beat.

E 320 4 matic Wagon - 2003 Mercedes-Benz E-Class
By LKG - September 4 - 10:00 amThis is my wifes vehicle, she loves the car. This was a replacement for a Suburban. She loves the size and the handling etc. I perosnally prefer the BMW for ride and sport car handling. This thing can haul a ton of cargo and still handles pretty well. Would be great to see this unit made with the extras of the E 500. I would persoanlly consider the Pacifica when looking at this unit.

Excellent to own - 2003 Mercedes-Benz E-Class
By Phil - September 1 - 3:03 amThis car has everything anyone could want: safety, reliability, styling, comfort, standard upgrades such as an audio system that uses fiber-optic wiring to the speakers (you hear every sound), and great gas mileage. What more could you want?

Perfect for the aspiring VP - 1997 Mercedes-Benz E-Class
By Alex - August 31 - 6:13 pmI bought this car with 222,000 miles on it from a family friend. In 7 days, the radiator blew, but for 3 years after, now with 244,000 miles, the car drives beautifully. Comfort, handling, horsepower, and after tinting the windows, style. I plan to drive this car until it breaks down completely, overall it is a true gentlemans ride.

By hcgridder - August 18 - 10:00 amOutstanding car, poor creature comforts or bad design. Excellent performance is one thing but overall is another. May not repurchase in2-3 years.

UnderRated - 1998 Mercedes-Benz E-Class
By Phreeze - August 5 - 6:53 pmPlain jane exterior hides an exceptionally well crafted and highly reliable machine. Quick tracking, rapid acceleration, sure grip lay beneath a church choir skin. Lacks the flare of its sizzling sisters and brothers; but, delivers the message of a final destination worth visiting. Currently has 125,000; acts like the day it was born. Wolf in geeks clothing, including the pocket protector.

Great Family Car - 1999 Mercedes-Benz E-Class
By mbob - August 3 - 2:00 amBest car I ever owned. Comfort, styling, performance, fuel economy, saftey, and reliability all top notch. Price tag well worth it as I will drive this car at least 10 years and overall cost of ownership will ultimately be less than lesser priced and lesser quality cars.

Best Car Ever - 2003 Mercedes-Benz E-Class
By terry - July 28 - 10:23 pmIve had 3 other MBs, a BMW, a Jaguar, and a Cadillac-this car beats them all-easily. Great ride coupled with excellent road feel, I can drive 8 hours and leave the cockpit feeling refreshed, 30/31 mpg at 75 mph-and only routine maintenance, brakes, and tires. Its not marriage material but next best!
