Overview & Reviews
A favorite in the midsize luxury car class, the Mercedes-Benz E-Class has provided an appealing mix of comfort, performance and safety for decades. The trademark qualities of Mercedes-Benz vehicles, such as vaultlike solidity and cutting-edge technology, have also contributed to the E-Class' great popularity among luxury buyers.
Over the years, the E-Class has been offered as a sedan, wagon, coupe and convertible. Contemporary E-Class models come loaded with luxury features and offer stunning acceleration in higher trim levels, with diesel power available if you want to maximize your fuel economy. The E-Class has never been the sportiest car in its segment, but its handling has improved significantly in recent years. Rivals are better in certain respects, but if you're looking for the complete package in a medium-size luxury car, an E-Class will be hard to beat.

Love It! - 2006 Mercedes-Benz E-Class
By Teresa - March 24 - 4:43 amI dont think I will ever own anything but a Mercedes now! Its the best! Plenty of room for my family. I cannot believe the fuel economy I am getting! The dealership filled up my tank and I drove on that first tank 723 miles. This has so much power, and looks so slick!

Better than the SLK I traded in - 2010 Mercedes-Benz E-Class
By MA Benz Owner - March 24 - 4:36 amI owned two SLKs and fully expected to purchase another hard top convertible or "maybe" a sporty coupe. After shopping all the luxury convertibles I started looking at the coupes. I narrowed it down to the Audi A5, Infiniti G37 Convertible and then I drove the new e class. What a change from my SLK. It has everything since I went for the premium two package. Just returned from a road trip to VT - extremely comfortable. Only problem - it cruises at high speeds and you dont feel it - great ride and handling. Love the adaptive xeon headlights, voice controls, awesome stereo with every capability. Panoramic roof with sun shades. ... Gas mileage was 26.5 over 500 miles combined.

Great car - 2004 Mercedes-Benz E-Class
By jefecita - March 20 - 8:56 amI love this car. Handles great, comfortable. This is my fourth car in same E series. Mileage is better than posted. I average about 21 in mostly city driving. On the highway, I get around 28. Surprises me, but duplicated over many trips and years of driving. Complaint: the air conditioning is not great. We live in Arizona where this matters 6 months of the year. Unit is very slow to cool down the car, is very noisy when full on, and is inadequate in rear seats.

Wow! What a car! - 2007 Mercedes-Benz E-Class
By kb635csi - March 18 - 7:16 amI love driving this car! It feels faster than the Porsche Carrera S Cabriolet I traded in, its infinitely more comfortable and its capable of swallowing massive amounts of miles in a day. Take a road trip in one and youll never want to fly (in the air) again.

All that glitters is not Gold - 2003 Mercedes-Benz E-Class
By Bar L - February 25 - 2:00 amFell in love with it at dealership, all the cool features and gizmos. Worked for a while then I realized it was a lot of gadgetry, poorly thought out and designed for a good first impression. Than reality set it. Electronics worked about a month, then started going caput, one thing after another. Never even sure the radio will play till it does. Cheap plastic parts breaking etc.Not near the quality I expected and not near as reliable as or functional as my old99 Navigator or my wifes 03 Navigator. That is a real car! God help the person who gets it after the warranty expires!

Fun to Drive - 2010 Mercedes-Benz E-Class
By h.correa - February 22 - 2:00 amGreat car to drive on trips or around town. Handling is great especially on curvy roads. Good to great fuel economy as the trip computer reads 26mph on highway. Engine has plenty of horses(V6).Every option on mine except leather. Seats are synthetic leather but are great looking and easy to clean.17k on odometer and inside looks like day I bought it.
