Beautiful Car - Has Some Little "Issues" - 2003 Mercedes-Benz E-Class
By MnK - September 20 - 10:40 pmI love my E320 - but it has been in the shop too many times for the same issues. First: the integrated telephone. Dont waste your money! I sound like I have my head in a bowl whenever I use it - and it took out my audio when they installed it. The dealership had the car for a total of approx. 6 wks to get it fixed. Recently brake light malfunction came on. Dealership tried to sell me brakes I didnt need. All that needed replaced was the sensor in the rear brake light. It took almost 2 weeks to get the sensor diagnosed and replaced. Other than that the car is fabulous. MB needs to get their service centers to solidly, accurately support their products.

Just for the record - 2003 Mercedes-Benz E-Class
By rqjwill - September 11 - 11:20 amWe purchased this car a year ago with 10K miles and have driven an additional 14K miles with a few minor issues, but overall this is a great car. This is our first Mercedes and wed buy another without hesitation. In fact, I cant imagine owning anything else. The gas mileage is around 23mpg combined and 30 mpg highway. Its a pure pleasure to drive especially on busy city streets, where it brings a confidence and calm. Overall reliabitly is good as well. Cant wait to get an 07 or 08

MB has finally figured out how to build the driving dynamics of a BMW and package it with a world class drive train and engine. Over the top insanity when you hit the gas and throw the car into a corner. Bottom line the best overall high performance sedan on the market!

I traded in a 2003 E 350 - 2006 Mercedes-Benz E-Class
By Gerald Perlow - September 8 - 5:50 amThis car handles better than my previous E 500 (2003). The power is virtually the same below 60 mph and it feels more responsive in spite of its AWD. I also have an S 500 and this car is more fun to drive. I road tested the new GS AWD and the M35 of Lexus and Infiniti and this car was the winner.

Like a rock. - 2004 Mercedes-Benz E-Class
By Senior happy ownwr - September 7 - 9:50 amSecond buy of E320 series. This one the best, Love dealership and have been careful to adhere to maintenance schedule. Drive long distances and car is quiet and powerful. Ride is stable and responsive. Small electrical problems, radio ect but not a bother. No major repairs, highly recommend. Car is safe in my opinion. I have an extended warranty issued direct by Mercedes and it does provide comfort that if the day comes for some serious trouble that it will be taken care of, at no cost.

Love the car - 2003 Mercedes-Benz E-Class
By sreeni - September 7 - 2:00 amIn terms of performance, the car is very enjoyable to drive. Its handling is excellent, and the seat comfort cannot be beat. The interior dashboard and controls are far more appealing than the S class, Lexus, and Infinity. Only BMW and Audi come close. I hope its reliability is as good as my first impression.

Luxury Car Experienced Owner - 2006 Mercedes-Benz E-Class
By Ana - August 28 - 4:53 pmThis was my second MB (C320 first), after owning 4 BMWs (740, 328, M3, 325), 1 Lexus (GS), and a RRover. Ive always loved BMWs because they are fun to drive, but this MB has the cornering, performance and stability I loved in my BMWs plus the gorgeous design, interior comfort and luxury that BMW has been sorely lacking. The car is spacious, both in length and width. The commands are well positioned (seat adjust. on doors) and there are plenty of compartments. Fuel efficiency is fairly superior to an engine of its size. As a woman driver, this car provides m invaluable safety peace of mind; if breakdown occurs, unlimited roadside assistance is a push of a button away.

Wonderful Car! - 1997 Mercedes-Benz E-Class
By SweetLew - August 28 - 10:00 amI bought my E420 on December 26, 2002 with 18,106 miles on it. I have had NO Trouble Whatsoever. Everything works and works well. The car was like new inside and out and with 24,300 on the clock, it still is. I feel for those that got a bad one. On the other hand, I can hardly imagine a better car if you got a good one, as I did. I can hardly believe the soldity and smoothness of this machine. I would simply urge anyone in the market for one to scrutinize the car extensively BEFORE purchasing it.

Great Car So Far - 2007 Mercedes-Benz E-Class
By DKS - August 23 - 10:30 amIve owned my 07 E350 with the no-cost sport option for 30 days and I could not be happier with it. I hope it is reliable. So far so good. I purchased the extended 7 year warranty. My 97 E320 was very unreliable and gave me a lot of problems.

How can MB put so much into a car, and yet still build a car that idles quickly at times, or shakes at high speeds. Its love/hate. I love certain features and characteristics and hate others.
