Overview & Reviews
A favorite in the midsize luxury car class, the Mercedes-Benz E-Class has provided an appealing mix of comfort, performance and safety for decades. The trademark qualities of Mercedes-Benz vehicles, such as vaultlike solidity and cutting-edge technology, have also contributed to the E-Class' great popularity among luxury buyers.
Over the years, the E-Class has been offered as a sedan, wagon, coupe and convertible. Contemporary E-Class models come loaded with luxury features and offer stunning acceleration in higher trim levels, with diesel power available if you want to maximize your fuel economy. The E-Class has never been the sportiest car in its segment, but its handling has improved significantly in recent years. Rivals are better in certain respects, but if you're looking for the complete package in a medium-size luxury car, an E-Class will be hard to beat.

Wifes Benz - 2010 Mercedes-Benz E-Class
By Big Pauly - June 8 - 3:10 pmWent car shopping 2 weeks ago as my wifes lease on her Jag S type was coming to an end. Went to see the E350 first. Went to BMW, Lexus, Volvo, and finally Jaguar/Audi. Well, we went back this weekend and picked up the E350 sedan. Car is used for business so the coupe was out of the question unfortunately but as 4 door cars go...this is clearly a head- turner. I was disappointed by Jaguar this year as we had actually loved the S type..we liked the old English luxury styling..but this XF..it seems they couldnt make up their minds about the look of the car. Lexus merged into well, another Lexus. Indistinguishable from 100 other cars on the road.Toyota? with a leaper hanging off the trunk.

Outstanding Vehicle - 1998 Mercedes-Benz E-Class
By Rodd n Seattle - June 8 - 10:00 am29 mpg on recent road trips, brakes are easy to replace and are outstanding, comfort on long trips, good resale, paint job equal to none and if you buy slightly used, one or two years old you dont take a big hit, but that goes for any car. Fast for a V6, great stereo with the Bose upgrade...worth it, smooth transmission and comes pretty well equiped as a base.

E320 CDI Rocks - 2006 Mercedes-Benz E-Class
By John - June 6 - 5:53 amHave owned BWM, Volkswagen, and Volvo vehicles. This MB is by far the best in terms of build qulity, ride, and engineering. This is my first diesel, so Im hoping for a huge improvement over my current SUV (16 mpg). The design is timeless and the car feels like it will go hundreds of thousands of miles.

What a car - 2007 Mercedes-Benz E-Class
By Dave J - June 3 - 1:13 pmJust purchased a CPO Bluetec with 24K. Dealer experience was excellent. In two weeks have put on two thousand miles of primarily highway driving between 70 - 76 mph. Average MPG is slightly over 35. Systems are A-1; everything is intuitive. Extremely comfortable and supportive seats in MB Tex. Will check back in after first D service in 8 K miles.

More than I expected. - 1995 Mercedes-Benz E-Class
By Original Owner - May 27 - 2:00 amAfter a few weeks of driving my new car, I thought, I hope I will always own a Mercedes. Talking to another 95 Mercedes owner that owned a number of cars including a new Lexus LS4xx, he brought up that same feeling about his Mercedes. At 60,000 the car was running better than other cars Ive owned with less mileage. It was more reliable, with very tight body. I was begining to think trade-in, when I brought it in for the 60,000 mile check- up. As I drove it away from the dealer, I was amazed that it drove as well as it did the day I bought it. At 75,00 there is still no reason to trade it in. It has been a great automobile, much better than I expected.

Great car with some minor setbacks - 2014 Mercedes-Benz E-Class
By joe41296 - May 19 - 8:45 amI love the look of the car, the more aggressive grille that comes with the 550 and the performance is exquisite. The 402 horsepower and 443 lb/ft of torque usually puts me at 60 in about 4.6 seconds. The car has a great ride quality and when in sport mode really feels like a Drivers car." When Driving the car there is a noticeable rattle the comes from the A pillar and is present even on fairly smooth roads. Convertibles are more prone to these types of issues however when driving a BMW 650i convertible this rattling was not present. Furthermore, there is a slight squeaking noise that seems to originate from the front axle or suspension and just occurs now and again and then goes away.

Excellent Car - 2003 Mercedes-Benz E-Class
By Kevin - May 19 - 5:10 amI am loving this car more now than the day I bought it. I will probably keep this one until about 2010 or 2011 and then buy another one. Without a doubt, this is the best car I have ever owned.
