Model Overview:

A favorite in the midsize luxury car class, the Mercedes-Benz E-Class has provided an appealing mix of comfort, performance and safety for decades. The trademark qualities of Mercedes-Benz vehicles, such as vaultlike solidity and cutting-edge technology, have also contributed to the E-Class' great popularity among luxury buyers.

Over the years, the E-Class has been offered as a sedan, wagon, coupe and convertible. Contemporary E-Class models come loaded with luxury features and offer stunning acceleration in higher trim levels, with diesel power available if you want to maximize your fuel economy. The E-Class has never been the sportiest car in its segment, but its handling has improved significantly in recent years. Rivals are better in certain respects, but if you're looking for the complete package in a medium-size luxury car, an E-Class will be hard to beat.

I thoroughly enjoy this vehicle, the ride is quiet and comfortable. The cabin is egonomically designed for easy access to every appointment. The vehicle without doubt is built to exacting specifications. The bose sound system is without equal, and makes the vehicle a pleasure to drive. The only question I is the transmission which seems a little quirky at times, perhaps its my first experience with a Mercedes that causes this concern.

great low-end power; good brakes; excellent luxury cruiser; plenty of space for 4-5 passengers; a bit heavy on turns (going 60+ mph :)); would purchase again!

The Mercedes E350 wasnt my first choice for a midsize car. After driving a BMW 3-series for 6 yrs, my obvious choice was a 5-series. The 5-series design is ugly and I-drive is terrible, car was more nimble and fun to drive than an E350. Definitely a beautiful car that turns peoples heads.

It certainly is the most powerful auto I have owned, faster than my 1990 ZR-1 and 1967 Shelby GT500. It is comfortable and quiet. I have obtained 22.5 mpg on the highway but it does enjoy a drink in town and will do about 13.5 mpg. I wish the navigation system were more like my Lexus SC430swhich is very easy to use. Guess I just have to accept that it is "German".

Clean, strong and fast for a big car that gets 26MPG average and 35MPG on the highway. No odor or smoke ever, truly amazing. I have had it about a year now with no problems. I did upgrade to the 18" wheels for looks. The stock 16" ones were quiet and smoother ride.

Two and a half weeks 1800 miles. Love iy -so solid yet nimble. Last car was 528i(2008). Love the tighter turning circle and ergonomics. Memory card with 510 watts is the easiest way to listen to music. Sports package with silver color is beautiful. First brand new Merc - bought in part because our 98 E320 is still driving so well. Got it for $41.8k too!

  • Opinion not changed on MB reputation - 2014 Mercedes-Benz E-Class

Finally traded the E350 in on a 2016 C class sedan 4 matic. Better built more comfortable than the E 350. Car still exhibits a lot of road noise which I think is caused by the run flat tires. It doesnt seem like Mercedes is making quiet vehicles like they used to. This is a follow up review to my previous E350 review. I just took the car on a short trip to Sedona Arizona and I have to say that the road noise in the cabin was considerable. Over moderately coarse pavement the tires roared so much it gave me a headache. I am very disappointed in the amount of road noise that exists in $60,000 automobile with only 7,500 miles on it. I dont think Mercedes Benz products are what they used to be. Buyer beware. Opinion not changed. Road noise is still excessive. The front seats are uncomfortable. More rattles have developed. The front bumper and the attached chrome wing at the bottom are very susceptible to rock chips. Also, the interior high gloss black ash wood trim may as well be plastic it is so full of scratches and swirls and I am extremely carefull to wipe fingerprints off with a very soft cloth. I cant wait to get rid of this vehicle; however, E350s have not held their value and I am considerably underwater. Again, buyer beware!

First the buying experience was exceptional & flawless. I live in NE PA & vehicle availabilty as well as professional salesmanship are not available. I also own an 04 C-240 4-Matic which led us to the E Class. My wife & I are both extatic with these two vehicles. I feel safe in these cars. They handle exceptionally well. Not a single problem with either. The size of the E vs. the C makes it firmer. The C is awesome in winter driving and look forward to the experience wthis winter with the E. DVD Nav is awesome. Wouldnt change a thing on my E. I traded an 03 Lexus ES300 which I liked, but the E is better. "I just love this car"
