Model Overview:

A favorite in the midsize luxury car class, the Mercedes-Benz E-Class has provided an appealing mix of comfort, performance and safety for decades. The trademark qualities of Mercedes-Benz vehicles, such as vaultlike solidity and cutting-edge technology, have also contributed to the E-Class' great popularity among luxury buyers.

Over the years, the E-Class has been offered as a sedan, wagon, coupe and convertible. Contemporary E-Class models come loaded with luxury features and offer stunning acceleration in higher trim levels, with diesel power available if you want to maximize your fuel economy. The E-Class has never been the sportiest car in its segment, but its handling has improved significantly in recent years. Rivals are better in certain respects, but if you're looking for the complete package in a medium-size luxury car, an E-Class will be hard to beat.

So far I like this vehicle. Dealer & Salesman were superb!!!! I am still getting used to being back in a car.In (C) mode acceleration could be better.I am still learning the driving curve of this car. I have the "Sport Model".The "True" experience is if and I mean "if" you can paddle shift. WOW the vehicle becomes a totally different car! FUN!!!!! but hard to drive on city streets.

  • What I would expect for the money. - 2003 Mercedes-Benz E-Class

Bought this new 2003 E320 sedan for my wife. I wanted a safe reliable and nice car for her to drive. The car falls nothing short of spectacular. We love the style both in and out and the car comes with more features you could even use. We only have had this car for a month now so cant really judge realiablity now. Ride is great, handling is excellent (we didnt want a sprots car). Handles better than any high end american auto sedan and we have had a Caddy, Lincoln in the past. I currently own a 2003 540 BMW and the MB is nicer all around.

  • Wow! - 2014 Mercedes-Benz E-Class

Have been driving my new 2014 E550 Coupe for about a week, and it is remarkable. I switched from a BMW 535 and there is no comparison. The E550 is a rocket, rides like a dream, and contrary to some places write, I feel much more connected to the road. The interior is gorgeous, exterior is sleek and beautiful, and the technology is fantastic. I was a little worried that the Lane Departure, Blind Spot, and other systems might be intrusive, but frankly, make it even more fun to drive. Gas mileage is about what you would expect, though the on/off feature should help, and is virtually unnoticed when stopped. Sound system is also first ate

  • ABS Pump noise issues - 2010 Mercedes-Benz E-Class

The car is nice but for over $50k MB should do something about the noise from the ABS pump. The car can’t tell when is out of control and every time you take a curve it activates the ABS pump for the stabilizer unit. BAD design.

  • Finest car Ive ever driven - 2010 Mercedes-Benz E-Class

My wife and I have driven Cadillacs for years. In July 2009 we wondered onto the Mercedes Dealers lot. This was to be our lucky day,the salespeople were very knowledgeable, friendly and willing to help(we encountered quite the opposite at our local Cadillac Dealer)which is why we were looking ! We wound up buying the 2010 550 E. What a wonderful car ! Even during break-in we obtained about 20 mpg in town , the ride is far superior to the Cadillac and the amenities are unparalleled ! Thus far we are ecstatic about the purchase. Even the performance leaves the Cadillac touted Northstar in the dust !

  • My Dream Car! - 2005 Mercedes-Benz E-Class
    By -

In just 14 months, I worked my way up the AMG ladder. I went from a 2004 C 32 to the 2005 C55 to the awesome 2005 E 55. All cars were brand new. My E 55 is the ultimate in performance, looks, and power. I have never been denied by the engine when I demand more power. It is always there. The E 55 is not a large car. It rides beautifully, easy to maneuver and park yet has all the characteristics of a small sports car. It is tight, is a breeze to control especially with the adjustable air ride. I took it on a trip to California from BC and had a ball. Passing was joy. It was over before you knew it. My dream car, the E 55 will satisfy my needs for many years to come.

  • Worst Decision of my life - 2004 Mercedes-Benz E-Class

I just came out of a BMW 540i and after 3 months with this car its been in the shops so much the coffee guy knows me. Drive is nothing like a BMW, leather is soft and has some nice features but who cares. So does my daughters HONDA!!!

  • Awesome E55 - 2004 Mercedes-Benz E-Class

I first drove this car at the AMG challenge at Daytona last May. It was an 8 hour opportunity to try (beat on) all the AMG models. With pro drivers riding shotgun we took these cars to the limit. From the SLK55 to the big S55 the available power and superb handling was like nothing Id ever experienced before. I decided the E55 AMG was the one for me and I couldnt be happier. I find excuses to drive it. I even drove from NH to Florida and back for fun and a little golf, and if my wife would let me Id go to California. If you are looking for high performance with versatility and all the creature comforts, Mercedes-Benz AMG vehicles cant be beat.

  • So far so good - 2014 Mercedes-Benz E-Class

Bought it two months ago. So far so good. Visited dealership due to torn front seat leather. They took care of it without question. Maintenances cost like oil change and stuff are on the high side but expected. All I can say the ride is smooth like driving it on butter, on my luxury not sport version of E class.
