Overview & Reviews
A favorite in the midsize luxury car class, the Mercedes-Benz E-Class has provided an appealing mix of comfort, performance and safety for decades. The trademark qualities of Mercedes-Benz vehicles, such as vaultlike solidity and cutting-edge technology, have also contributed to the E-Class' great popularity among luxury buyers.
Over the years, the E-Class has been offered as a sedan, wagon, coupe and convertible. Contemporary E-Class models come loaded with luxury features and offer stunning acceleration in higher trim levels, with diesel power available if you want to maximize your fuel economy. The E-Class has never been the sportiest car in its segment, but its handling has improved significantly in recent years. Rivals are better in certain respects, but if you're looking for the complete package in a medium-size luxury car, an E-Class will be hard to beat.

Was a skeptic but they blew me away! - 2007 Mercedes-Benz E-Class
By Jaguar Lover - May 19 - 5:06 amI am 22 and have had two Jaguars and loved them. I wanted something different and tried the Mercedes. I was very reluctant because I have read so many horror stories about Mercedes reliability but the more refined 07 has been perfect. It is quite, safe, luxurious, sporty, wow list goes on and on it is truly an amazing car.

Dont Leave Home Without It! - 2006 Mercedes-Benz E-Class
By Doc - May 18 - 8:03 pmTheres a flaw in the stats: mine gets MORE gas mileage: 45 mph. The car rides like a dream but maneuvers like a sports car. Quiet and powerful. I formerly owner a Mercedes diesel 70s model and the problems were: slower than a gas engine, smelly and noisy. Not now: the Turbo Diesel is super fast, doesnt smell, and is quiet as a church mouse. Listen to your doctor: Buy this car! Miami to Atlanta on 1 tank!

Outstanding automobile - 2005 Mercedes-Benz E-Class
By Four door sedan - May 11 - 1:46 pmThis is my third MB. It is the best auto I have ever owned or driven. My wife and all who have driven it, rate it as the best drive and ride they have experienced. Mileage is fantastic. A 1000 mi. trip, with 900 miles of turnpike driving resulted in 35.9 mpg as measured with fill to cap to start and fill to cap at finish

Exotic 4 Door - 2004 Mercedes-Benz E-Class
By Greek Boy - May 11 - 2:00 amAWESOME car. This car pulls hard like my 2001 911 TT. Exotic performance that fits 5 people with luggage. Love this car since it looks like a regular MB to most people.

2006 E350 First 90 Days - 2006 Mercedes-Benz E-Class
By BradQ - May 8 - 6:30 amA very good car overall. Well built, great performance and amenities. Dealer service and interest in customer relations is also very good. My only complaint is that the software CD supplied with the navigation system has very limited coverage of the US outside of several major cities. It totally ignores such places as Wilmington, NC, Camp LeJeune Marine Base, and many other areas, limiting its functionality severly.

A disappointing surprise - 2017 Mercedes-Benz E-Class
By George 166 - May 6 - 5:30 amI have previously owned three MB E-Class cars, with complete satisfaction. Now comes the new E-Class with impressive design and high tech features, but a very disappointing engine. The acceleration is poor and it runs out of steam above 80 mph. The options list is large and can bring the price, with a V-6, to the mid eighties. I ended up buying a Lexus LS 460, a far superior car in every way, for a lot less money.

AN EXCELLENT MIDSIZE MOTORCAR - 1998 Mercedes-Benz E-Class
By TMP - May 4 - 10:00 amI LOVE THE ENGINEERING & HOW ITS BUILT. THE ONLY MECHANICAL REPAIRS REQUIRED WAS NORMAL MAINTENANCE. I PERFORM 99.9% OF ALL REQUIRED MAINTENANCE/MECHANIC WORK. I TUNED THE ENGINE & DROVE THIS CAR ON A 200 MILE TRIP AND GOT 29.9 MPG, AT 60MPH, WITH THE AC ON AUTO. THE FRAME IS VERY STRONG WITH NO BODY SHAKE ON ROUGH ROADS. I DONT DRIVE THIS CAR IN BAD WEATHER BUT WHEN I GOT COUGHT IN THE RAIN ITS GREAT. IN MY OPINION THE BENZ HAS BECOME THE BENCHMARK FOR HOW I RATE MOTORCARS. I WORKED FOR BMW FOR 8 YEARS & ALL I SAW WERE PROBLEMS. THE ONLY PROBLEM WITH THIS CAR IS THAT IT GETS DIRTY. THE NEXT BENZ WILL BE AN S-500.

CLASSY - 2008 Mercedes-Benz E-Class
By mk - May 4 - 4:16 amWhat a great car ! My first MB, couldnt be happier. Everyone should own one of these once in their lifetime. Fuel economy is where it should be for a all wheel drive 268hp heavy sedan. So smooth its unreal.

New Mercedes diesel - 2006 Mercedes-Benz E-Class
By John DuPlessis - May 3 - 6:00 pmI just bought the new E320 Bluetek. I replaced an E55 Kompressor, so the acceleration is down of course, the milage is double and power is enough. I drove last years 320 CDI, its straight 6 was a little less noisey, you can tell this is a diesel when idling. Overall a beautiful car.
