Overview & Reviews
A favorite in the midsize luxury car class, the Mercedes-Benz E-Class has provided an appealing mix of comfort, performance and safety for decades. The trademark qualities of Mercedes-Benz vehicles, such as vaultlike solidity and cutting-edge technology, have also contributed to the E-Class' great popularity among luxury buyers.
Over the years, the E-Class has been offered as a sedan, wagon, coupe and convertible. Contemporary E-Class models come loaded with luxury features and offer stunning acceleration in higher trim levels, with diesel power available if you want to maximize your fuel economy. The E-Class has never been the sportiest car in its segment, but its handling has improved significantly in recent years. Rivals are better in certain respects, but if you're looking for the complete package in a medium-size luxury car, an E-Class will be hard to beat.

Great Car ! Mercedes E350 Coupe 4 Matic Sport - 2013 Mercedes-Benz E-Class
By dchuba - December 19 - 4:58 pmI have always thought the Mercedes Benz E class was a beautiful car. But I also like a more sporty option. And the Mercedes Benz E class Coupe was the perfect choice. It has stunning looks and sporty styling inside and out. And the luxury of this vehicle is top notch. And this is coming from a Bentley and GTR owner. Trust me this car is a joy to drive and handles great. With big wide tires it’s sure to handle all the bends the road my through you way. As for the acceleration put it in sport mode and hold on because it’s fast. And the luxury on this vehicle is fantastic. The harman kardon sound system, user friendly interface, navigation, beautiful leather bucket seats, beautifully designed steering wheel, glass top, and the list goes on and on. As for the reliability it’s also very good and would be a great choice for a daily driver. And it will also turn heads daily. However the maintenance is believed to be high by some, but in reality is extremely reasonable. But if you are use to driving a honda and switch to Mercedes Benz, yes of course it will be more expensive. It’s a better vehicle with better parts. And trust me if you get this vehicle you will love it.

by Jim S. - 2005 Mercedes-Benz E-Class
By James Sandsmark - December 19 - 12:46 amThe turbo-diesel has all the response and acceleration of my previous 2000 E320. On trips, I typically get around 34mpg. If I keep the speed @ 65 or less , I have experiened 37.6 mpg over a 250 mile stretch

Second thought - 2000 Mercedes-Benz E-Class
By boxster - December 16 - 10:00 amI have fell in love with the design of the E430 and performance. The problems that I have similar about ABS appeared several times and replaced steering rack which caused clicking noises when turning the steering wheel. I have very disappointed with the Park Place (Greenway) in Houston, TX. It took three times to fixed the ABS and four times to fixed the steering racks.

2009 E350 4Matic Sport - 2009 Mercedes-Benz E-Class
By STSMLTLE - December 14 - 1:10 pmThis car is marvelous! The styling with the sport package is great, it drives very well, and is comfortable. The 350 V6 has as much horsepower as my old Mercedes 430 V8. Its plenty fast and I get 20 MPG. It feels as stable and strong as a bank vault, but drives quick and nimble too. The climate control system and 7-channel audio system also are great. My only gripe is with the nav system. Its a pain to use and the screen is too small.

E350 4Matic - 2006 Mercedes-Benz E-Class
By Stephen - December 13 - 6:00 pmIts time for me to give my 39 month lease back. I would highly recommend this car. I spend 2.5 - 3 hurs a day in it for a commute and it has been great. Only problem I had was with the all wheel drive transfer box. Supposedly they had problems with the lubricants in this year and the car vibrates when moving slowly and making sharp turns (approx $4000 fix if out of warranty).

boat review - 1999 Mercedes-Benz E-Class
By me review - December 11 - 2:00 amThis car was perfect right off the lot. After 5 years I have had minimal maintenance performed and no major problems. It is the best car I have ever owned in 40 years.

By BOB/3553 - December 11 - 2:00 amBeautiful, handsome, styling. Not as willing to play as previous BMW. Handling is a bit ponderous. Car is at home on the highway at around 100mph.I ordered the sports package, but car came with standard rubber. Dealer replaced tires with correct high performances Conti Contact Sport II

Great Gas Mileage - 2003 Mercedes-Benz E-Class
By Starbow - December 6 - 5:33 amI love my Mercedes for its mileage - I continue to get up to 30.7 miles per gallon and Ive owned the car for 3 years - it now has 27,000 miles on it. We recently took a driving vacation trip, starting I-66 W through the Blue Ridge then Great Spoky Mountains - Alex., VA to Sevierville, then Oak Ridge & Chantanooga, TN, then to Cherokee and Ashville, NC then back home to Upper Marlboro, MD via I-95 N. This car drove like a sports car around & over the mountains - huged the road, took curves, the exception-ally smooth & accurate breaking made this car an absolute joy to drive - my husband, who does not like my "soft" car (he wanted me to buy a BMW 530), would not let me at the wheel.

Total Junk! - 1997 Mercedes-Benz E-Class
By Total Junk - December 3 - 11:40 amThis car was a total hunk of junk from the first day we drove it. The check engine light came on on the drive home on the day of purchase. It was never fixed, but to make the car even worse the radiator had to be replaced before the car could be sold. So, $3200 later we finally just got rid of the car to cut our losses while we still could. Run! Dont walk away from this car!
